Guild Wars 2

I’m on Northern Shiverpeaks with a handful of toons all currently below lvl 10.

I’ve been playing WoW for years and I made the switch over to GW2 a week ago. So far I’m really liking the game play and the player base, but I’m looking for a casual guild. One of the reasons I like MMO’s is chatting with folks during the game.

I’m mostly a PVE player, but I’d love to try out PvP and WvW etc, and some of the other acronyms that GW2 uses that I can’t remember at the moment.

I play a couple times a week, I am the exact opposite of a hardcore raider. I enjoy helping people out when I can, whether that’s with resources, money or helping with an Event etc.

I have two young children, which limits my play time, at least until they’re old enough to farm for me. ;-)

I’m the typical gamer, sarcastic, not afraid of swear words or semi scandalous comments from my guildies.

You may enjoy our guild. We are a growing multi-gaming community. We strive to utilize our site for helping players & sharing information. We communicate via Mumble, we also like to use the Overwolf overlay and communicate across multiple games via Enjin chat. We try to keep our community full of mature players by requiring our members to participate in a trial period before being allowed in our mumble.

We are looking for new and experienced players. We enjoy helping new members get comfortable in Guild Wars 2 and are looking for experienced Officers who can help. We also support Twitch streamers and are always looking for more.

A sPvP & tPvP team is planned, but the majority of our players are not ready for that yet. I personally would like to find someone who wants to lead such a team.

Crimson Guards United Gaming Recruitment :

In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. Once we recruit more members into CGU we will shift our focus from this to Guild WvW and the newly added Guild Missions. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Here with CGU Gaming we believe in letting every member do what they enjoy in-game and we believe in-turn thats what makes the Guild better as a division.

Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.

Ohhh, Dremendond! Coming up with creative ways to farm already! Given your description of yourself as a casual player (with young in’s, to boot), I thought you might be interested in Remnants of Hope. We’re a casual guild with our fingers in a lot of different aspects of the game (sticky, sticky), and we love chatting while we play. We’ve also got some great stuff going down on our forums, for people who can only check in casually, including a weekly Caption the Picture Contest (with in-game prizes).

As parent myself, with two older kids a tween and a teen – I understand balancing gaming life with parenting life with work life and social life…and sleep…..

Senility aims to be a multi-gaming casual guild for the adult gamer. We all lead busy lives with our work and family commitments – that at the end of the day we want a stable and competitive guild, without the fear of being dismissed or berated for prioritising our real life responsibilities over those of MMo’s and gaming in general.

Senility is not a hard-core guild. We are tailored to the working adult and/or parent who cannot afford to spend countless hours on an MMO when life’s priorities demand our attention. Senility offers an adult community that specialises in casual play for adults who want to enjoy MMO’s without the pressures and time demands that other guilds sometimes inadvertently place on their members.

Heya! Writhe [WRTH] is a small casual guild looking for new recruits. We currently have 40+ members. Most of our players are new players learning the game. We have a group of experienced players who help guide them through leveling and learning the game mechanics. There’s no such thing as a stupid question with us. If you need help learning more about your class or just want people to hang out with we might be right for you.

We are Binary Alliance [BA]… a casual, mostly PvE guild but occasionally we like to kill stuff now! dip into WvW and sPvP. Most of our members are sarcastic muggles/punks/crazies in their 20’s and 30’s who like to joke around and have a good time while gaming.

What makes us special? In all seriousness, our biggest concerns are compatibility and community. When recruiting, we like to find people who are a good fit for our guild – that means fun, friendly, casual and willingness to be team players. Legendary weapons, map completion, and achievement points are not how we judge applicants – serious, leet-core gamers do not get preferential treatment.

We recruit in small batches, interview new applicants and get to know people before giving them full membership.

We care about who we recruit and therefore don’t accept all applicants. This doesn’t mean that people we reject are bad players, but it simply means that they aren’t the right fit. Please don’t mistake this for elitism – our occasional little “struggle squad” has been known to fall flat on our collective face, but we pride ourselves in having a kitten fun time while doing it.
