About Us:

ESP is a guild which was formed in Guild Wars over seven years ago and ever since our inception we have remained steadily active. After racking up numerous awards and accomplishments, including ‘Guild of the Week’ as recognized by Arenanet on Nov 28th, 2006, we now concentrate upon Guild Wars 2 with full force to continue our legacy.

ESP is a social guild — meaning that our primary focus is upon the people who make up our guild and the sense of community that we all share in together. In Guild Wars 2 our events range from weekly dungeon groups, sPvP teams, WvW raids, casual PvE Raids, missions, and more, as well as a number of unique yearly events and tournaments which we devise ourselves.

To summarize: we are one of the longest-standing guilds in the game, we are here to stay, we are here to have fun, and we don’t take our success too seriously (because we are also here for your crumpets, pants, vodka, and platypi).

Member Requirements:

We are an 18+ Guild. Aside from that, what we look for when we review prospective new members are people who are friendly, easy-going, and who have a strong willingness to interact with us and take part in guild activities. We would rather have someone who will run around laughing and having a great time win or lose rather than someone who is a professional at the game and plays 40-hours per week (not to say that some of us aren’t game addicts). We believe that our easy-going humor along with just the right amount of organization are the keys to our longevity.

Our player base is international; we have members from every continent (except for Antarctica), so people from everywhere in the world are encouraged to come find a new home with us —a home where you can find great people to play with no matter what time zone you live in.

We are a IOJ based WvW guild that operates mostly during NA primetime. Roaming/ small scale fights are our current focus but the end goal is a 15-20 man group comp. Although all experience levels are welcome and encouraged, a passion and drive to succeed and learn is important. If you are a pro, you are expected to help. If you are new to the game mode or class, you are expected to reach out for help, accept constructive criticism or flood the other members with questions :P We are guided by three core values…

INTEGRITY- We must do our part to ensure the guild/server stays free from toxic and cancerous behavior. As such, putting down other guilds on our servers and elitist behavior will not be tolerated.
RESPECT- Having respect for your guild members and allied server members is important, we accomplish this by assisting them both on and off the battlefield. Respecting our enemies is as just important. Both a win and defeat on the field has lessons to be learned.

ACCOUNTABILITY- If you are making mistakes during fights often, you must work on improving or ask for help from your guild members. The more we improve as individuals, the stronger our group synergy is.

Odds and Ends…

We run in TS. This is a requirement. In the interim, just listening (not having a mic) is just fine but down the road, the importance of quick, concise communication will be a necessity.

Representation in WvW is a requirement. Although small, we have a group of dedicated, passionate members that proudly rep [Reus] and would hope you share in that feeling.

As we get more members, our build composition will change. We understand this doesn’t and normally cant happen overnight but adherence to performing a certain role, with your main class, with a generally established guild build will be expected.

The TS and guild chat is in no way, shape or form family friendly. We are all adults and most of us abuse the freedoms of being out from under our parents roof. That being said, discrimination, personal insults and general saltiness to other guild members will leave you immediately high and dry, all alone on the field and out of the guild. But past that, don,t expect an episode of “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” every time you come in to chat.

We have a very chill guild/TS/Chat environment. However, there is a time and place for everything. I personally care how everyone’s day was and would love to hear about it. However, if you do not see the need or can’t naturally detect when to “clears comms” in a fight, this will cause a problem. Being able to turn on and turn off the “switch” is absolutely crucial.

Zaishen Order of Misfits is a brand new [NA] guild that is opening its door to all adult players(18+) to join us as we venture to explore all the content of GW2 and conquer them all. We are looking for like-minded individuals who not only want to complete these challenges but have fun doing it in an environment that is friendly and supportive.

We are gonna focus on these various content:

Raid training- We are looking for persons who are interested in raids and if you already have done raids helping others in training. We hope to have numerous static groups so to make sure everyone not only gets the exposure, but also the necessary time it takes to learn it. Daily Fractals- For those who only have maybe 4ish hours of gameplay in the week, we wanna do something fun and rewarding. Fractals is a good place to grow and earn some nice loot at the end of it. We will do fractals for all tiers. If you want to start getting ascended trinkets and stuff; Fractals is a great place to start.

Guild Missions- As we will start building our guild hall we will be doing weekly Guild Missions. Guild missions not only help with upgrades for guild hall, but also provides players with Guild commendations which can be used to purchase ascended trinkets(the cheaper way).

World Vs. World- We are looking for members of the Tarnished Coast for WvW raids. We are looking to be a hybrid Guild which fights and also takes objectives. WvW Training and Builds will be provided and discussed.

Other activities- As the guild grows we would venture in the open world and participate in various world events. Using some of these event rewards to finance the guild’s revenue for assisting guildies with gears, guild events, guild hall upgrades, etc.

he Laughing Llamas [LOL] is a North American guild operated primarily by U.S. military veterans.
We are based in the Maguuma server and focus on WvW roaming/fighting.

General Information:
When not in WvW we do general PvE work to include Meta Events, Trains/Farms, Dungeons, Fractals, and the occasional Raid.

We tend to decide as a group what to do at any given time depending on the number of online players and their willingness to gather and participate. Doing things in PvE as a guild is usually to help other players achieve a goal (mastery points, hero points, etc). Choosing to “do your own thing” is perfectly understandable and accepted. There are always members willing to group up for just about anything, so you never have to go at it alone.

Though we have a solid daily player base, expanding our number of active members will help tremendously and allow us to organize more events to benefit all members.

This is a videogame. We treat it as such and we aren’t hardcore. Everyone in the guild has work or college and friends and family that come first. We don’t care if you die while with the group in WvW or you accidentally jump off a cliff during a fractal (but expect to be made fun of, naturally). We won’t cry if you don’t have full ascended gear or a legendary weapon (we can help get you there). We don’t ask you to stop representing us if you die a lot in front of other random people on the internet. We aren’t about the drama that seems to plague not only guilds, but the community as a whole.

For us, GW2 is more like a hobby. We simply want more players to join us so that we can all collectively enjoy the game to its full extent. Playing GW2 is much more enjoyable (and a whole hell of a lot easier) when you have a reliable group to communicate with, especially in WvW.

About Us Personally:
Again, the guild is ran by U.S. military veterans, but we have plenty of members not affiliated with the U.S. military and welcome everyone from all backgrounds/cultures. We are all obviously 18+ and most of us are in our low to mid-twenties with some a bit older. The guild leadership is consistently online and on Discord. When not online, leaders are always reachable through the Discord app for Android/iPhone via our text channels.

Please note that we are not a family-friendly guild but we are tolerant of the life choices of others and respect each other. Friendly banter/trash talking however, is commonplace to include strong language and coarse/rude/dark humor. Because of this, we recommend you look elsewhere if you recognize yourself to be easily offended by things like this.

“Operated primarily by U.S. military veterans” should set the tone for the kind of environment [LOL] is. If you are/were U.S. military, know and understand that we throw all rank out the window here. We currently have Army/Marine Corps veterans and reservists.

Requirements:
Full membership status will be awarded upon the completion of one guild mission event and two PvP/WvW events with a Legionnaire ranked member or above (Centurion/Tribune/Imperator).

Feel free to be a part of other guilds so long as you complete the above initial requirement and participate in a minimum of one guild event/activity a week while representing [LOL]. At the same time, we understand that players are busy with work, school, family, and friends. We are reasonable people and understand that real life takes precedence.

If you choose not to actively represent [LOL] you will not be kicked, but you will not qualify for promotions. To qualify for promotions, you must consistently represent [LOL] and actively participate throughout the week to include joining the voice channel in Discord.

The Requirement for participating in guild events/activities also decreases as your rank in the guild increases. This is because higher ranking members are not only more trusted, but tend to be more active overall and thus can be excused from missing events/activities more leniently.

RAIDING Though new, our group 1 has just cleared all wings and bosses in one week for the first time last week. So we look to get better and faster from here on out. There may be a spot in group 1 potentially. We’ve tackled some wings multiple times.

We are an 18+, casual, North American guild based in the Pacific time zone; lead by a season three PvP legend and winner of multiple 1v1 tournaments. However, we’re not just about PvP. We’re a group of players who’ve come together through our love of all aspects of Guild Wars 2 to share our knowledge, time, and individual expertise, to form not only friendships but a community; and we want you to join us.

We have a level 42 guild hall that has been extensively customised to give members a new and exciting experience every time they enter. We also offer our members: a 5% waypoint discount, free potions that give a variety of 10% bonuses for a day, the ability to force spawn World Bosses, 10% increase in WvW experience as well as increased WvW supply capacity, a guild scribing station that doubles as your personal bank, a variety of merchants located in the guild hall, plus a “you buy it, we’ll supply it” policy on any and all guild decorations.

All members are expected to be respectful and mature at all times. We are all here to play the game to relax and enjoy each others company. Real life drama should be restricted to private communications between friends. Friends are encouraged to help each other with their problems, but it should not overtake the purpose and spirit of the game/guild.

At present we are focusing on leveling characters and increasing our member base so we can be consistently active in all PvE aspects of the game with some PvP and RP mixed in.

As the guild will include an RP aspect, it will have a backstory focused on looking into possible ways to stabilize the ebb and flow of magic in an attempt to reduce the frequency at which the Primal Dragons awaken. (Of course there is no way to actually achieve this in the game, but it should still be quite interesting to role-play.) As the name may suggest, the Order will be based out of Lion’s Arch and its primary purpose being to protect and defend her from all enemies, dragon and non-dragon alike.

Hello adventurer!

If you are new to Gw2, a returning player that has no idea whats going on, or a veteran that is willing to help out new players and new new guild, we would be proud if you want to be a part of us!

Our guild was built 2 days ago and we have a bit over 25 members right now. The reason I made the guild is, to help out new players as most of us have not experienced the full game yet and we would like to do that together.
Another benefit from joining a new guild is that we do not know each other too well, so it is easy to jump in and feel like a part of the guild straight away and not like a third weel, which can happen when you join a guild that has been together for months/years.

Our first goal is to get every new or returning player back into the game, help out each other, do some guild activities and reach max. level to jump into HoTs and the new PoF expansion once it comes out. We are also working on claiming a guild hall at the moment.

We are chatting on discord the entire day and hanging out in our voice chats if we are doing some guild activities.
