Hi, guys

KISS guild is currently on Aurora glade server. Recently a few wvw focused guilds left the server. Due to that ..Aurora Glade has turned into a pve server.

We have tried to hold it together but it just doesnt work AG stopped upgrading/deffending keeps etc. no towers being upgraded/no one deffending and little daytime activity.

So.. we are currently sniffing around for a new home..

We would be bringing any where from 40-150 daily active world vs world players.
Our active play times are:

Mon – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Tues – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Wed – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Thu – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Fri – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event. Reset we always put out the most numbers up 80 guild members.
Sat – random play mornings. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Sun – random play mornings. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.

All time zones are UTC+1 – uk time.

I would like to ask for some info from any server interested in having us.

1) What is your server and Zone EU/NA ?
2) What is your all round wvw coverage like?
3) How’s the maturity of the server “trolling etc”
4) What are the weak points to your server.
5) How is the pve? are area’s open or always contested etc..
7) Do you have active voice com and server wide activity?
8) what are your Que times like between the hours of 8pm – 4am UTC+1/uk time.

There is a massive chance we will be looking to move before Friday 28th June 2013!

Your feedback is important to us, It is also important that you do not tell porkies as it is costing us a lot of money to move. Also we would be losing all of our guild attributes.

KISS is a mixed wvw/pve guild highly active in both aspects of the game and very stable within its own community. This is KISS from gw1.

Honestly, just stick it out. Its an issue (or non-issue) for most servers around this tier. AG is in as good a position as any of us.
Desolation maybe, they’ve had a lot of guilds leave and have maintained their position despite it so i imagine its down to good defensive organisation.

Or if you really want to push up the tiers (god knows why) go piken. Only thing they really lack is night coverage.

News for u Dis… THERE IS NO PERFECT SERVER! Deal with it!
Some things u need u may find in tier 1 or national servers like Vizunah, but u will place 60% of ur guild in long que. If guys there or ur guild dont mind longer que, then go there. Do not expect things will be better then on AG on some similar EU servers.
Might be better if u move to NA but i want to fight against u again

I would say the reason for that is the wexp , people go for the easy rewards instead of running supply, defending and scouting. Why do something that gives little to no reward, costs a lot of gold and can be quite boring when you can run wexp trains for the maximum gain.
It’s an issue within the game, and not server specific.

Well if your open to an NA server, I’ll throw my hat in for NSP. We would love to have you guys here. We never have queues and have a ton of skilled players. We seem to be always outmanned and always fighting against bigger population servers but always hold our own. While everyone else has received some transfers we unfortunately have not, so any transfers would be a great welcome!

I know tiers have gone out the window but we would be roughly a low tier 6, high tier 7 server. We have gained a ton of ratings points over the last few months and we have been seeing an increasing number of PvE’rs coming over to help out our hardcore WvWrs. Guest and visit to see for yourself. It is a good place to be!

Hi,

I’m a UK based player on Stormbluff Isle so thought I would chime in and address the points in your OP:

1) What is your server and Zone EU/NA ?
SBI is an NA server.

2) What is your all round wvw coverage like?
I would class us as a hybrid PvE/WvW server at the moment. We used to be a tier 1 WvW server with a lot of guilds focussed on WvW, but some of them moved on. Lately on reset night we have been fielding a full EB and home BL. During the morning time here in the UK we do have good Oceanic/Asia coverage but could do with more afternoon/evening players before most of the NA crew log on.

3) How’s the maturity of the server “trolling etc”
In WvW we have a very mature leadership which meets regularly on state of the server meetings, a key part of those meetings is how we approach any recent trolling that may have taken place. We are totally against hacking/cheating etc and work actively and positively with guilds on other servers to stamp it out. If i was to describe SBI WvW community in one word it would be ‘respect’.

4) What are the weak points to your server.
We could definitely do with more server-wide strategy and synergy in WvW. This is something we are actively working on right now. I’m sure some of our leadership will be in touch and can explain more on this.

5) How is the pve? are area’s open or always contested etc..
There are currently bi-weekly organised temple runs in Orr and boss events are very well attended.

7) Do you have active voice com and server wide activity?
We have a server TS. There are a lot of server activities, we have monthly state of the server meetings, guilds group together to do things like the temple runs I mentioned. Guild mission events are also very well advertised and co-ordinated across guilds. You can find a lot more info on the stormbluff isle website around this.

8) what are your Que times like between the hours of 8pm – 4am UTC+1/uk time.
On the past couple of reset nights we have had EB and our BL queued. But I can’t remember the last time we queued an opponents BL. The ability to take ~80 players into an opponents BL would be life-changing for SBI when it comes to WvW.

WvW on TC is pretty good. What really set it apart for me is how respectful people here are. In general the militias do try to follow the orders from the commander, or at least they disagree with the commander in a really respectful manner. Many players are willing to scout inside towers for enemy ninjas.

TC is a RP server that accepts random thoughts and ideas. So in a way it helps the community to be more friendly and open minded to different opinions.

There is usually a sizable zerg to led or follow. Other than RE, there is also CERN and PiNK to follow. CERN is the biggest wvw guild on TC I think. There is also 2 EU guilds. There isn’t any Oceanic guild in TC right now, so its mostly militias.

The queue time for maps in NA prime time ranges from 10 min to 30 min, depending on the time, day and the map. That’s the sacrifice we have to make for a server with enough population to make a difference. Outside of NA prime time, there are very minimal queue times in Oceanic and EU, from what I heard.

Speaking of which, Aurora Glade is Dii’s EU headquarter. I better talk to those guys and see what they are planning about their future. Thanks for the heads up. ^^

As a JQ player, I’ll recommend one of the T2 NA servers. They already have a good NA, but need help with coverage to be able to get in the T1 Rotation, so either TC or DB

For those who is wondering Aurora glade is still going strong. We have always been pve focused server and most likely will be. We have many WvW guilds.

Come to fa if you like to fight. We have a very good mix of guilds that like open field combat and others that go for ppt. We have round the clock coverage but could use the most help in the euro time zone to set up for na. We a very widely used community ts. Hardly any trolls in map chat and well I just like the people there. For more info send me a private message or even better send a scout over to see for yourself

As a JQ player… I too hope SoR and BG EU timezone don’t get any more stacked… its pretty bad as it is… EB and all BLs are getting outmanned everyday during EU, in EB by WM and IRON.. just last week IRON guys had fun in taking our outmanned keep before reset with omega armies =.=;;

Please for your own sake don’t rush it like this. Take your time to scout the servers/read their forums/speak with the server population. You will find it surprisingly easy to find which servers are a healthy community and which aren’t just from a couple of days of looking.

Please move to a EU server.

If you really want to move to NA, go to JQ. EU guilds have no place outside of T1 in NA, you won’t get any fights and will destroy the balance completely, so go to the T1 server with the lowest euro coverage.

I fully recommend Desolation. Even after losing a lot of guilds, they’ve rebuilt and are doing an awesome job against the T1-2 euro servers. Your presence there will help make them more competitive against those servers.

You dare to presume that you are holding together the entire server?, we are not just a pve server, and one of the questions you ask of the other servers is “their” maturity level?, really?, good lord the arrogance is unbelievable, we still have a strong wvw force and many new people in training who have gained an interest, those who know this im sure will not be whisked away from their home by your guild tag, Aurora Glade forever! Loyalty forever!.

NSP has already been mentioned by The Dentist.

To the ones saying that NA servers outside of T1 doesn’t need the EU coverage – that’s bull. NSP is in need of coverage in our dead-zones, and when we have that, we will be capable of so much more than we already do. Our NA prime is tremendous, but it gets less and less active when it nears night time for them.

We are outmanned on several occasions, but we still manage to win against groups and servers we shouldn’t (according to coverage and Mos.Mill).

1) Northern Shiverpeaks, NA
2) It is lacking in the EU/Oceanic, but our NA is very strong.
3) There is some trolling (more people who know eachother joke with eachother. Haven’t seen much trolling lately), but when kitten goes down, we focus.
4) Lack of numbers and coverage, definitely.
5) NSP is a highly populated server, and the PvE is thriving.
7) We do have a server-wide ventrilo server available for WvW, but unfortunately not everyone uses it.
8) We have close to no queues over the week (rarely). However, we do tend to have some queues on reset night on our BL or EB. (Both are rarely queued at the same time)

ANYWHERE except SoR. They have a powerful EU presence already.

This is a personal opinion if you are looking for a NA server go to Tarnished Coast or Jade Quarry.

Jade Quarry, Tarnished Coast or Blackgate… Sanctum of Rall has a very big EU coverage and the other three could definitely use some help :P

I see [KISS] in SoR, I believe they’re the same guild.

If true, SoR now literally have 24/7 coverage. This is awesome, except that there is no one to complete against it. SoR is now tier 0.5.

Of all servers, why would KISS go to the one server that has the strongest EU coverage in NA? If you want to come to T1 NA, you should go to JQ…

guys if you read the topic carefully. “they are looking for the PERFECT server”
the word perfect does not mean competitive in my opinion. Choosing already winning server makes perfect sense because who would want to carry any server that has zero EU coverage alone. KISS being on sor allow them to do whatever they want during EU primetime. They can pve, they can wvw if they like to without the feeling of being forced to play just to hold the ppt.

This shows that KISS have been a server carrier before which makes SoR perfect server for them. becasue only sor can provide huge support during EU and NA EST.

Doesn’t hurt reputation because they can’t lose and becomes easy to play because they don’t have to face anyone during their time slot… this is why world vs world will never be balanced.
