Guild Wars 2

Hello there, I’m looking for a good guild to join. I have been away from GW2 since January and want to get back into it.

I’ve had plenty of experience in social gaming in the past. Raided WoW heavily in my college days (leadership roles/guild leader) and was a leader in a TF2 clan for a couple years after I dropped the WoW addiction.

What I’m looking for is an active guild that loves to PvE (and the occassional PvP). I don’t need something super structured where we have requirements to show up on set nights. But I would like to casually log on during weeknights (7-11pm CST) or on weekends and have people to smash through content together. So I’m really looking for a friendly/open/mature environment with skilled players that can focus when it’s needed.

The lack of the guild cooperation and activity within my previous GW2 guilds really ruined the experience for me. Please only reply if you have what I’m looking for, I’d prefer that things can be different this time around.

Final Notes

-I have an 80 Mesmer and a warrior in the mid 20s I believe. But I’ve always been a one character type of person. Before I left the game I had about 3 exotic sets for different builds and a couple professions maxed on the Mesmer.

-Currently I’m on Isle of Janthir but I’m willing to tranfer.

-Would prefer a guild that has voice communication and at the minimum a forum to socialize outside the game

There’s been a lot of updates to GW2 since January, with ANet’s commitment to providing an update every 2 weeks there’s always something to look forward to.

The guild I’m in, “Tonic” (located on Crystal Desert) has a strong focus in PvE with some designated sPvP/WvW nights. We’re not super strict and have no mandatory attendance requirements. All of our events start at around 9pm EST (8 CST) every evening.

VOIP is a big thing for us. We hop on every evening even if we’re not playing the game. Currently we use Teamspeak.

I’m not Portuguese… and I know that it means scar.

I’ve used this name for all gaming purposes since I played WoW on my main (So like.. 8 years). But I got it from a band called The Mars Volta, one of their best songs – Cicatriz E.S.P. Go listen to it if you haven’t heard.

Heya! Writhe [WRTH] is a small casual guild looking for new recruits. We currently have 40+ members. Most of our players are new players learning the game. We have a group of experienced players who help guide them through leveling and learning the game mechanics. There’s no such thing as a stupid question with us. If you need help learning more about your class or just want people to hang out with we might be right for you.
