Guild Wars 2

Hello all, a little background on me first. I’m a single parent with a full-time career who’s been playing MMOs since the 90’s. I still find time to be online every day so I’m active. I played GW1 with all its expansions, and GW2 since beta, then off and on since launch. I’ve only been back a couple days so far.

1)What I’m looking for is a guild that is active, family-friendly, social(Discord) and works together regularly. I like both PvP, PvE, as well as WvW of course and guild missions. I haven’t bothered with raiding yet, but have nothing against learning. I play on Tarnished Coast, but might consider guesting until I can transfer if the guild is right.

2)What I’m not looking for are super huge guilds, “elitists”, or guilds with members that somehow incorrectly think that being “mature” involves being racist, sexist, obscene and/or discussing their illegal drug habits(and no I’m not referring to the ones legal in some states).

The Charter Vanguard might be just the right place for you. We’re family friendly, some of us having kids of our own who get on to play. There is a “no cussing” rule for the guild chat and for anything a bit more controversial, we have a special section on the forum for such discussions so it will be kept away from the main crowd. We’re beginner friendly, and never believe in the idea of leaving a brother behind. Our community is first and foremost, that’s how we’ve been able to survive for so long while other guilds around us have died. Many of us CVians have been around for many years. We’ve been around since GW1, having been established in 2004 and never gone inactive since. We have Discord, forums and a facebook page for social interactions. And our members do PvP, PvE (dungeons, fractals and raiding) as well as twice a week WvW, twice a week role play and twice a week guild missions (both on Saturday).
