Guild Wars 2

Hello all. Newish player on Devona’s Rest in the US server base. I don’t really have many friends who play this game and would like to get into a guild with some laid back people. I’m pretty shy in the beginning, but I’d love to get with a group of players for story quest, pvp, dungeon (Story and Explore) and just to get to know and hang out with them. I’m not sure if I really fit into any ‘Guild Mold’, but I’d like to at least make some friends along the way Fingers crossed!

I know you’re on the Devona’s Rest server, but I recently started up a guild called Too Easy on the Darkhaven server. With the guild features that Guild Wars 2 has, there isn’t much of an issue of being in a guild based on a different server aside from being able to see each other in the open world (unless you use guesting which is awesome! and good enough) and you can’t do Wv3 with each other. That being said, the guild was just started yesterday so there are only 2 people in the guild, my cousin and myself.

The plan for Too Easy is to be a casual and social guild that focuses primarly on PvE content, and will eventually branch out to sPvP and Wv3 when the guild gets large enough, granted everyone is primarily based in the same server. The plan is to have no more than 75-100 active members so that all the members don’t just feel like a number. Instead, all the members will know each other and feel comfortable talking with each other and no one will feel left out. I’ve been in large guilds, and they just aren’t for me.

No need to worry about being shy in Ronin and it may be a perfect starting guild. We have only just set up and have 8 active members. Thus there is no worry that you will feel overcome with having to get to know lots of people and personalities initially.

Free Armed Ronin of Tyria are a US/UK run guild based on the Ferguson’s Crossing server. We have just set up and are run as a casual mature guild as we all know that real life more often that not comes before gaming unless you are young and not working (oh to be both again!).

Here is a little bit about us:

The Free Armed Ronin of Tyria has been formed by Sto & Res; both of us long time gamers. We are from the US & UK respectively and met in another GW2 guild. After being there for some time we decided it was the right time to move on and set up a guild of our own that will (hopefully) appeal to many players out there who cannot find a guild that gives them all they want.

What type of guild are we?

A newly formed casual, mature guild.

What can you expect from us?

We know that real life comes first and with that in mind we are a casual guild, and will not expect any member to log in to a set schedule. Although if you join us we will expect you to represent us. Why? Because above all we want to develop a great spirit and community atmosphere. We believe this can only be accomplished if members take part. After all, you would not join a football team and then not take part in games with them!

We will look to accommodate all types of player – PvE, PvP, WvW, Dungeon & Fractal. How? We will be looking for leaders that enjoy these aspects of the game and will look to develop these members to lead in their area of skill & expertise. So if you enjoy PvP but PvE bores you we will have events for you, and the same with other areas of the game.

In Alchemy Incorporated we have a great group of friendly people that love to team up and play with guildies. Dungeons, fractals, or just open world play for the daily or exploration or leveling you’ll probably find someone to join with if you’d like.

We don’t have a guild mold, but I’ve been thinking of getting a Jello Mold… I mean who needs a Jello shot if they can have a whole Jello Football?!? Join AI — we think outside the shot glass!

I can understand being shy Espher, it’s something I’ve struggled with as well. Though, I am more outgoing now than I once was.

Having read your post, I think you are looking for a guild in the wrong fashion. You shouldn’t have to ‘fit’ into a ‘guild mold’, more the guild should ‘fit you’. No mold, no conforming. I’m probably not expressing that quite as clearly as I could be, but language seems to be failing me today. lol. I guess bluntly stated, you need a guild where you can simply ‘be’ yourself, not what the leader expects or desires you to be (unless that fits with just being yourself).

You’re more than welcome to check SSW out (Anvil Rock, NA). I have a recruitment post here, however being shy, we might make you a tad uncomfy. Not intentionally, of course, but we have some strong personalities.

The Remnants of Hope is based on Tarnish Coast and offers PvX, RP, and WvW while maintaining a fun and social atmosphere in ts3 and guild chat. We don’t really have a mold for you to try and fit to. One of our biggest assets in the guild is the community. We have several different aspects that you can play in or just hang out with us in guild chat and/or ts3 and do nothing.
