As the title says I am looking for a WvW and PvE focused server to transfer to. I don’t care about the cost but do have some notes.

1) I do not care for sPvP at all and wouldn’t mind if it was inactive.
2) I am looking for a heavy PvE farming server
3) I am looking for a heavy WvW server (Competitive not Farm focused WvW)
4) I would like a server with friendly atmospheres /map /team /say

If any of you know the servers well and can help me plz plz plz post below.

Not sure what you mean by “competitive” wvw tbh. The way to be competitive in WvW is to stack a server with coverage because that’s the winning tactic. So you’ll probably want a T1 server. Blackgate is usually known to have heavy PvE farming although TC may have the best WvW coverage.

Thanks for responding. “competitive” because my current server only does WvW for karma trains… It’s kinda dumb.

Vystirch take a look at all of the Devonas Rest world recruitment threads. Also look at devonasrest.org DR as a regular schedule of temple runs in Orr, we have steady participation of world bosses and champ trains.

BRL Black Rose Legion on DR is a WvW focused guild and the server as a whole is about fighting to win. Yes coverage has an impact but we play to win when we are in game.

I’m sure a lot of servers will fit your description. Idk if your on EU or NA but I personally play on Anvil Rock, and there are a lot of PVE concentrated guilds that do PVE farming all day. AR also runs temples and the worldboss train daily. Although our rank in WvW is low, I will say we are a competitive and skilled bunch, we always put up a good fight which I’m sure other servers can vouch for. We have many WvW committed guilds (TBT, INC, Zero, KAOS, TFH, WAR… just to name a few) who run every night. From my experience everyone I’ve met on AR is friendly, of course there’s always gonna be a kitten or two on every server that’s unavoidable. AR is a growing server with lots of potential, we’d be happy if you’d join us!

Yep, SBI! I think we have what you are looking for, so long as you are happy with not being in the T1 /T2 blob fest.

I don’t do PVE, but I know we have a lot of people who do. They hold weekly PVE events that generate a lot of participation. We are very active in WvW, especially in NA prime, and have a core of experienced, dedicated, hard-working players who are mostly easy to get along with and respectful.

In the interest of full disclosure regarding WvW, we are on the south side of the gulf between the high-pop/bandwagon servers and those with medium WvW populations, so we simply can’t compete in PPT with any server above position 8 right now, due to numbers, but we are having a lot of fun nonetheless. We have a core of people who don’t give up, even when the matchup is incredibly uneven, and we welcome others who are willing to work, even with the going gets tough, and who treat their servermates with respect.

TBH, you don’t need to transfer to a server to do PvE farming on it due to guesting. Which timezone do you play? Because that seems to be more important in terms of WvW servers. Your current server might be doing a lot of karma training in WvW because of imbalanced coverage during the time you play. BTW, I’m on Fort Aspenwood.

@Chaba Ehmry Bay is where I’m atm. And the WvW is rly not competitive enough for me. So I want to move to a WvW server, but I want to make sure I can do PvE in that server also.

SBI is great. We have a strong PvE farming community, and we have a dedicated core of WvW players, who are pretty competitive. We fight for everything we get.

We are a friendly bunch, and love to have fun. We have all the usual stuff like TS, website, etc.

Slingblade stated our WvW status perfectly. We don’t have the numbers to compete with the t1 / t2 (as well as the 7th ranked server), but we have the numbers to compete with everyone else. Silver league should be a lot of fun, even when we are matched up with DB or FA (whichever makes it to silver league).

More important then server, ranking, skill, build and all that BS is do you have friends to run with? DR has some really great guilds filled with great folks. You sound like a good fit. Transfers are free soon, so come on over. It will cost you nothing and so will leaving if we fail your expectations.

T1 is a zerg fest. You can drop 10 G a day on siege and upgrading camps all while getting scolded for burning supply. Don’t wast your time.

Also, on SBI we are starting to focus heavily on twerking.

Have a world boss train that runs around reset and hits most of them, have a few guilds that run wvw mainly then the few other PvX guilds that do it all.
