Hey, I have had this game a long time but have never made it past level 15 as with no friends and my unfamiliarity with this game has made it hard to me to keep interest :/. I am being given 400 gems to come back so this is as good as time as any! Plus the new Tower of Nightmares looks pretty neat!

NOTE I have NEVER done any of the live world or holiday events or fractals or any dungeons for that matter but would really like to try them.

I have played all the major MMOs so I kind of know how to play and what is going on (a bit) and have played a variety of classes to level 10-15. I am in the Eastern Time Zone and am looking for a small close guild or a large guild with a small clique willing to take me under their wing. Due to real life I may not be able to get on everyday but am on most days around 8-9pm EST.

I keep seeing people advertising speed runs through everything which I am sure if fine but right now I would like to take my time and actually play the content and not try and glitch/abuse mechanics to get things done.

I currently don’t have any characters worth keeping and am looking for a fresh start so I can easily delete what I have and start on any server. I haven’t played much so I don’t know what I will enjoying doing the most but in past MMOs I have been drawn to instanced dungeons.

You’re absolutely right, now is such a great time to come back to the game, and give it another go! The guild I represent always welcomes new members and we don’t mind answer as many questions as you can throw at us! We are based on Sanctum of Rall, and are primarily NA based.

MadCast is a gaming community that is bigger than GW2, but we are working on growing our GW2 sector right now. You can check out our website at http://www.madcastgaming.com/ips/forums.
I especially suggest you read through the forums some to get a feel for what we are all about! Here are some points you may find attractive about MadCast:

• We have a mature community. While MadCast has no specific age requirements we do have high expectations for maturity. You will find kind, patient people and no drama. The vast majority of our members are over 18 (especially in GW2). Most of our GW2 members are older with careers, and many have families and children.

• We are a serious community with casual gameplay. In other words, the main expectations we have for members revolves around positive contribution to the community and not on a packed GW2 schedule attendance. Core Gaming General Description-
Server- Jade Quarry
We are a PVX guild, which means we do a little of every thing form PVP to dungeons to WVW to Group Events. We are slightly new but we are progressing fast, with over 160+ members. We do prefer that our guildies come in team speak for Guild Missions,Dungeon runs, any hard content OR JUST TO HAVE FUN, but its not required if you know what to do. For our Core group of players who speed run dungeon and do structured PVP, Team speak is a must.
Dungeons- We speed run almost *ALL*dungeon parts including Arah and fractals lvl 10-60>. Although on a daily basis, your more likely to get the fast parts done.
Good dungeon runs are always nice and we are willing to help our members become better dungeon runners, even if they don’t know what they are doing !. Generally it takes about 3-5 runs before you understand the dungeon and game mechanics with us.
WVW (World Vs World)- We have WVW members, who enjoy zerging(following a commander) and who just have fun roaming and wrecking other people “PKing” in smaller groups. (Although we don’t focus on WVW, we still have our fun there).
*TPVP(Tournament) and PVP (Normal) *- We have a few members who do these from time to time, but this is more an organised event. I wouldn’t mind getting a few more members who like the PVP side of the game. We love this aspect, and PVP players are welcome in the guild.
I think a lot of people don’t appreciated GW2’s PVP. “I would like to do a In House(Guild) PVP every week, but I need more PVPers” – DemiGod
Sometimes we just goof off, because social fun in Lions Arch and the lols in the dungeons is what I love the guild for. The Guild Officers and admins are all veteran players who decided , let’s just make our own guild because of unforeseen circumstances <<— our previous guild went dead basically.
Other information-
100% representation would be appreciated, if you need to not represent, just let us know, and respond to our message or whisper when we ask you to represent. There are some times when our Guild Officers will message you because you are not representing.
We have VOIP-both Raid Call and Team Speak , but we mainly use Team Speak
We currently are working on getting all the Guild Missions. Our current status is Guild Race.
We would prefer more lvl 80’s members , but we don’t mind low LVL players either.

About Us

Remnants of Hope was founded on June 7, 2009. Originally a Star Wars Galaxies guild, it moved to Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch. Well known and respected on the Jung-Ma server, we continue to have an active, positive presence in the game.
At the request of its members, Remnants of Hope has changed into a multi-gaming guild to accommodate Guild Wars 2. Over the past 3 years we have undergone changes but continue to improve with age and experience. We strive to provide an engaging environment for all players to play the way they want.
