Hello! My name is Cate and I am the guild leader for Second Leap [SL] on the DH server. A casual, mature, and teaching guild that was based from some guildies from a large guild, and my hubby. We respect each other and have a great community. We do WvW, PVE, dungeons, and guild missions. Hiya Lepton! I’m not a fan of trolls, either. xD Since you specifically said you’re interested in a female-friendly guild, I thought I’d recommend Ember Solace. In the Purpose Statement in our recruitment post, we specifically state we’re a safe space for women (among other groups). I’m really sorry you’ve had bad experiences in the past because of that. I’ve faced that before, too, and it takes all the fun out of the game. =\ Anyway, if you’re interested in us, please stop by our forums and check out our application (it’s how we weed out the trolls). We’re super friendly, and we definitely enjoy challenges. We’re really small right now, but we’re looking to connect personally with our members and forge that kind of close-knit community that becomes a home. As a female gamer myself, I count myself lucky that I haven’t had to experience those things but I have heard of them happening. It’s really unfortunate that there are people out there who do things like that. With that said, I think I might have what you’re looking for in a guild.

My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. I’d say our roster is made up of roughly 40% women give or take a few. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week. We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family. We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can. We have the patience to teach dungeon mechanics and Fractals as well (which I really enjoy doing and teaching). Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required either. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

Tarnished Coast is a pretty good all around NA server. We’re doing well in WvsW, have a very healthy PvE population plus a somewhat more mature (mostly) group of people in general due to being the unofficial RP server.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

Luckily I also have not experienced such issues, but I am a female and am running a guild on Darkhaven that has welcomes all players and classes. My representative in the EU servers is also a female so we definitely don’t tolerate any kind of these issues within our ranks. We would love to have you join us as a casual PvX guild that encourages new players and give as much aid as possible. Hello! We are a PvX guild, which means, we focus on PvE, PvP, and WvW. Beer N Peanuts is established to let people enjoy their gaming while offering a community to support their efforts.
