Thanks for getting back to me, but I think perhaps with Blackgate being completely locked, maybe this won’t work out. I didn’t realize that full servers were impossible to transfer to, I thought Full meant that there were queue-times to get online or something (as I mentioned in my app, I’ve only ever transferred the one time, way back when, so I’m not familiar with the system.)

I think for now, I’ll look for another guild, but if blackgate ever opens up, I’ll be sure to re-apply and see if we can’t make something happen, assuming I don’t manage to find a good fit with another guild in the meantime. Thanks again.

Yeah, that wasn’t always the case, but ArenaNet has kept things pretty locked down since they partnered the servers up. In a few weeks when they change the pairings, there’s a chance that will change but no guarantees. You definitely seemed like a solid fit for us so I hate to see you look elsewhere, but I completely understand why. Best of luck to you!

When should we expect to hear back from you once we’ve applied

Usually within a day or so. Sorry for any delay, our recruitment officer is temporarily away until tomorrow so I’m handling everything myself right now.

Hey, I am a returning player to GW2 with a host of WvW experience from 2014 / 2015 time period on Crystal Desert and Yak’s Bend. I’ve got a few friends that I also play with and we are all currently looking to find an ACTIVE guild that regularly plays the game together. So, with that being said, I have a few questions for you:

- What is your total membership size?
- What is the typical activity within your guild on a daily basis?
- What sort of activities does your guild participate in currently?
- Have any of your recruiting policies changed since this was listed?

We have 110 members on our roster currently.

What is the typical activity within your guild on a daily basis?

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday it’s our WvW raid. Tuesdays are our PvP nights. Every other night is various PvE activities (dungeons, fractals, etc.) not necessarily in any scheduled basis. Missions are run on Sunday, though.

Separate from that, we have a PvE raid group that runs on their own schedule which overlaps with some of the wider guild activities (WvW and the like).

I think that’s answered in the last question, but we pretty much offer everything in some capacity, we’re actually looking to add more dedicated fractal progression in the near future and we also run special events every so often (more casual/social type things like Cards Against Humanity night, etc.)

Our post is completely up to date and you can check out our website as well. There are a few things we’re looking at in regard to rep and home server but it’s too soon to talk about any changes on that front.

I’m not sure which server you and your friends are on, if it’s still Yak’s Bend/Crystal Desert then you will need to transfer to Blackgate when it opens, but you can absolutely still apply and join to try us out while on another server.

For WvW what build do you consider appropriate for a Revenant? I’m currently fully ascended equipped with Berserker stats and want to learn/play WvW.

We don’t really talk too much about our team builds outside of the guild. With that said, a good starting point for any aspiring Revenant would be to check out the “meta” builds on Metabattle.
