Hello I am Drafigo.4690,

I have played GW2 since launch and recently took a month break. I really like most parts of this game and I am looking for a guild that does it all. A well rounded guild that doesn’t do just one aspect of this game but enjoys them all. I do spend more then half my time on this game doing pvp currently and would like to start doing more of other stuff but its a bit hard without some friends. The pvp stuff comes natural for me coming from such games as DAoC and WAR. Great games for their times and great experience. I ran with the same group of guys for almost 8 years now however most now have kids and stuff and don’t play much. We started a guild where I currently am on Mag server. However I need some better friends to enjoy the game. Not sure what else to say. Here’s info about my guild, the Roses of the Moonlight Sigil [RoMS]. (Sorrow’s Furnace Server)

In short, we are a casual PvE/PvX guild that emphasizes mature and respectful behavior on the part of our members (though a humorous/crazy streak is encouraged). We’re very laid-back about how people play the game, and don’t throw a fit if someone isn’t decked out in all exotic/ascended items and don’t necessarily know everything in the game. We’re relaxed, we teach, we chat and have fun together. That’s what it’s all about. (As an added bonus, it’s an extremely rare occasion that I have to deal with any sort of guild drama).

We generally do weekly Guild Bounties and WvW, as well as other random (and occaisionally whacky) events thrown in for variety.

At the moment, we have 10-25 people who login and represent RoMS on a daily basis (total roster 96), as well as a couple friendly guilds who we often muster with if not enough players are available for a particular activity. We’re most active in the evenings based on Central time zones, but happy to expand our activity at other times.

For voice, we typically use vent, but mostly only for WvW or sometimes dungeons.

Please be aware that RoMS does have an application that it requires for new members, to ensure that we get people who fit the guild’s philosophy. Additionally, the guild is PG/Family-friendly, and no swearing or explicit content is allowed.

Crimson Guards United Gaming Recruitment :

In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. Once we recruit more members into CGU we will shift our focus from this to Guild WvW and the newly added Guild Missions. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Here with CGU Gaming we believe in letting every member do what they enjoy in-game and we believe in-turn thats what makes the Guild better as a division.

Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.

Heya! Writhe [WRTH] is a small casual guild looking for new recruits. We currently have 40+ members. Most of our players are new players learning the game. We have a group of experienced players who help guide them through leveling and learning the game mechanics. There’s no such thing as a stupid question with us. If you need help learning more about your class or just want people to hang out with we might be right for you.

While I will admit right off the bat spvp is probably our “least” focused play, we do like to hop in to spvp…someone usually initiates it first and then it’s a domino effect because we want to play things that the rest of the guild is playing. With that said, we are well rounded and can go from world bosses, to a dungeon to help someone get their badges or level their chara, to spvp for daily or join in on some WvW fun. That’s typically what happens in between the weekly scheduled events. I’ll post our guild blurb and let you find out more about us that way.

Who We Are
The Unholy Mackerels is medium sized guild with 65 members, consisting of mostly NA members. We have a wide variety of members ranging from 18 to 40, males and females alike, that enjoys everything GW has to offer while in the social atmosphere of the guild. With leadership and officer roles filled with males and females, each bringing something different to the table to provide you with a stress free and friend filled environment. Not only does our leadership provide these things but our members too! We strongly believe that every person in our guild makes it the amazingly strong and fun guild that it is today. From the time you join UM you will right away be treated as if you have been a part of this family forever. What We Do
We do it all. We are a PvX guild that runs weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, Fractals, Guild Treks,Guild Bounties, Guild Rush and Guild Challenge (very soon). Members of “Regular” rank are granted abilities to schedule events too to ensure the guild is having fun the way it’s members want to! Also we take part in spvp, world bosses, leveling, map completion, achievements, and any other goal progression. On top of that, we provide FUN events!! Guild chat trivia, rat race, darts, hide-n-seek, movie night, drinking games, and more… all with prizes! There is always something going on daily with The Unholy Mackerels, typically anytime between 6PM-1AM Eastern.

What Server We Are On
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A tier 2 server for WvW, has quite a busy PvE population in maps, it’s own friendly community forums for all things GW2, it’s own community teamspeak where everyone is welcome, and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to have fun.

What if I’m not on FA?
No fear! UM allows recruits to guest for up to a month in order to help everyone to have time to gather in game gold or irl money in order to transfer. Our staff and members are also more than willing to help by running events to help out! With all the events we run it is very easy to make the money to transfer in as little as a week.

I would love to find a group that wants to run 5 man TPvP and run around in WvW and steal camps or something. I am hoping to make a decision by the weekend. thanks everyone!

Maybe we’re what you’re looking for?

• WvW: We prefer to do small roaming groups that cap camps, destroy enemy dolyaks, and have little skirmishes. However, we are very active with the CD community WvW and will participate in a zerg when we are needed.
• tPvP: We run PvP mostly on Wednesday nights. We have our own custom arena. We have a few ranked players as well.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] is an semi-hardcore PvX guild formed on 18-February-2013, based in Crystal Desert that aims to foster interest in all aspect of the game (sPvP, WvWvW and PvE), seeking for players that are fun-loving, outgoing and self-motivated.

Within a short 3.5 months, [TIME] has become a fully upgraded guild which can be considered an significant progress.

In additional, the guild started out as an east and southeast asia regional guild but now has grown into an international guild with people from all around the world. We have a significant 24 hours coverage with the lowest number of members online at 25.

Still seeking and doing research on guilds to join. I don’t want something that will be dead in two months. there are some fine guild above the leader being the one posted by synthetix. Still searching however. I have family members that play that want to follow as well however there not as willing to pay for a new server. All takers welcome please post link to website.
