It is hard to figure out which server will fit my play style. I love to man siege and defend stuff. I like to see if I can stop zerges and small groups form getting my servers towers and keeps. If you are on a mid to upper level server and your server takes pride in defending its borderlands. Post it here and you might get a new defender to shore up your ranks. P.S. I don’t zerge, if your sever has a balance that is what I am after. Cuz I know zerging is required in the game.

It sounds like you are looking for Sea of Sorrows if you are in NA. We don’t zerg much and we always need more defenders and scouts to help with golem rushes and all the nonsense that goes on when no one is watching a tower/keep.

NSP has many very active roaming teams and is always in need of just 1 more borderland defender. We have several small guilds dedicated to borderland defense. Some even dedicate themselves to fliping an enemy BL tower / keep and defending it for as long as possible. We also have a pretty good group of players who just love to get out and PvP roam.

Theres a plenty good bunch of defenders and commanders that love defending our borderland even when its not in danger on Isle Of Janthir and Im sure we could really use you, reaction time via communication is vital to save a tower/keep in danger.

Although most of us like to run small groups, medium zergs for offense around enemy borderlands and EBG

The League of Extraordinary Siegers [LEXS] might be a good fit for you on SBI.

We are a Stormbluff Isle WvW guild that focuses primarily on our home borderland. We siege, upgrade and defend our towers and keeps as well as take and upgrade camps and run small-man havoc/ninja groups when bored.

Repping is not required, but always appreciated (our members come from guilds across the server so we capture those who are truly interested in what we do). Most of our coordination is done via TS.

No zerging for LEXS. Though SBI does have it, you’ll have a choice of many things to do here and need not ever zerg. There is a great community on SBI!

Definitely come to SBI to safeguard our towers and garrisons. Our primary commanders definitely recognize the value of having good siege defenders and someone will to provide good information on enemy positions.

As Blodeuyn said, we’re siegers from different guilds earlier on DR and now on SBI. Each of us used to build, maintain/refresh sieges, and defend posts (or Hills treb, or… Hills) alone — even before Anet introduced the siege decay timer, so… you know what we’ve done to ourselves. We members of LEXS can hit the siege cap at home all by ourselves………

We WvW regulars and siegers formed LEXS, helped each other to keep our sieges happy and protect our investment — regular and superior sieges, upgraded towers and keeps. Later we had enough members from different small/medium guilds to claim 2 or all 3 keeps on DR’s home map (sometimes on a rotation) and put at least supply buff on it during or before NA prime time everyday!

We also developed a relationship with and had several contacts in our medium (7-15) or big (15+) enemy strike groups — we called them to do the bloody dirty jobs for us if needed. (Still learning and working on this, trying to blend in, on SBI, but we still have the same contacts in those former DR guilds which have also moved to SBI.)

SBI does have 1 or even occasionally 2 map queued zerg during NA prime time, but the home map is almost always available (reset night, bah) And… we do need more homeland defenders!

We can work together and chat with each other while defending a ghost map that no enemies come, or relieve each other to cause some havoc on enemy borderlands! (We few original DR siegers had been locked in our own borderland for a while…)
