Guild Wars 2

Hi there! I am myren.5490 also known as Noipros in game. I am a proud member of A Dance in Fire, a lovable guild that I’ve happily been a part of for about 2 years. You might have heard of us from that reddit post about our Fashion show where our guildies get together and try to impress the officers with the coolest mix and match armor they can think of. Recently, however, I proposed an idea to revive roleplaying in our guild. Since I’m an avid watcher of Game of Thrones, I offered to make a roleplay based on that called Game of Thorns! (Also, I wasn’t very sure where to post this so anyone has an idea of where I could appropriately post this, please let me know.)

Now, since this roleplay is rather serious, there are a few rules to make sure it is fair and everyone has the most fun.
Rules
No hate towards any religion, sexuality, gender etc.
No God Mode (Ex. “I am the god of earth and I can’t be killed because earth”)
No Immaturity
No Spoilers of any kind from Game of Thrones or Game of Thorns.
Must be a part of A Dance in Fire to participate. (No 100% REP required. Only Rep during the rp)

Now that that’s out of the way, the fun part! You can be whoever you want to be (except an all powerful god of whatever, because well you know). There are 4 major titles of which three are available.
King
Duke
Baron
Knight
I will explain the positions later in this post. Of course if you don’t want to be either of those, you can be whatever role you want to be as long as it fits in our current canon.
Last names from the show like Lannister, Baratheon, Targaryen etc. can be used. However, characters from the show like Tyrion, Jon Snow, or Daenerys among others are not in this rp and can’t be used. Make up your own Jon Snow! or better yet an Asuran based on Tyrion if you’d like!

Canon
So, Game of Thorns is similar to game of thrones as there is one king that rules over several kingdoms. So far, we only have 3 kingdoms to mention. So far these are:
House Noipros (Rata Sum, Metrica Province)
House Fauxfang (Metrica Province, Caledon Forest)
The House of Legend (The Grove)
House Targaryen (Divinity’s Reach, Queensdale)

You can create your own house and enter our canon as whoever you want to be! You can claim any piece of land on the map that isn’t already claimed and have it as your stronghold. You may enter war with any other part of land but only if you have a reason for it! Fighting with other houses will be much more difficult than unoccupied lands. Now heres the part I may need a little bit of help! Not all of us are adept at PvP and we have a dice game set up on Discord but I feel that’s a bit too random to decide war results. (If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.)

So, to catch up any people who actually do want to join the story so far, here’s what we have. I’ll begin first by listing major characters.

Plot
“King Auron Targaryen, believed to be a weak king, was assassinated by his enemies through use of Vialeth. After his death, the position of king is given to Viseron, a known maniac and dangerous foe. Each House suffers through their own personal problems like:
House Noipros works with the Asurans and Inquest to find a way to beat Mordremoth. They are unconcerned of the petty war of land and only want to find a way to drive back the Mordrem beyond the wall (Silverwastes and beyond is considered “Beyond the wall” drawing a parallel with the White Walkers and the Mordrem.) After Noipros is wrongly accused by Viseron of poisoning the other dukes at the coronation, he is forced into hiding and now works behind the scenes to achieve his goal.

House Fauxfang is led by the flamboyant and powerful Charr Mesmer, Howl, who’s true intentions are unknown. He shows great loyalty to the crown but is often believed to be manipulating events. Alongside his trusty bodyguard, Korg, he hides Vialeth in his castle and plans to use her for his own future plan.

The House of Legend is led by Legend Orochi, a mysterious sylvari who overthrew his previous leader, faces a troubled Grove who fears Mordremoth’s power is weakening the Pale Tree and his leadership of the Sylvari people.

House Targaryen, now owner of the Divine Throne, is led by Viseron, an insane but cunning leader who would burn the entire city down if they looked at him wrong. Viseron hungers for more land, land he would take from the other dukes no matter the cost. "
A Duke is an owner of land, any piece of land separated by waypoints on the Central Tyria map. Dry Top, Silverwastes, and all HoT maps are unavailable because those are “beyond the wall”. A baron owns a piece of land and serves a house. That land must be in the Duke’s control. A knight is a loyal servant to either a baron or Duke. They do not own land but are responsible for armies.
