Logitech G35 Sounds Distorted
I will second this issue with the same problem with the G930, which is the wireless version of the G35.
I have all drivers updated and using the latest Logitech software.
They are both USB headphones if that helps at all.
AH! i thought this was just me….. I dont suffer with the static issue but i do have the distorted bass, specifically on voices in cutscenes. I have been tinkering with all sorts of settings to try and stop it, but even when i drop the volume right down, it still distorts
Mine is a G930 as well, hope it helps
I have a G930 with this issue too.
I have a G930 with this issue too.
Hummm! I have the G930 also and I have had no problems. I’m sure you have the newest drivers ao do you suppose it could be something to due with USB port power? This is just a thought. You may try dis-connecting some USB devices or get a power USB hub. Good luck!
I have also encountered these issues on my G35. I agree that it significantly detracts from enjoyment of the game. Please look into this, ArenaNet!
I, too, have a Logitech G35 headset and I have also experienced some oddities regarding the audio in Guild Wars 2. It seems as though I can hear NPCs talking from just about anywhere in a given town, player characters’ voices will suddenly be very loud and very quiet at other times, and other issues. Overall it seems as though the distancing of voices is a little jumbled with this headset. I have also experienced moments in which I cannot hear SFX at all.
Thanks, I hope this issue is addressed soon!
I have a fix!! It’s not GW2. It’s the G35 software surround mixer settings having everything set to 11 by default. Go to your task bar and bring up the G35 software. At the bottom is a mixer option. You will see that ALL channels are set to 11. (Spinal Tap reference?!) Anyways, just lower each a couple notches and you will be ok! It worked for me and I had the terrible distortion on voices / blasts / guns as well.

My issue is now resolved.
Not sure if it was the driver update, game patch, or complete coincidence, but it works now
liquescent, what did you do to fix it?
