A simple solution for Dungeons!
Just having trash mobs drop anything would be a start.
I’d still skip them though. Plenty of blues and greens filling my bag at the end of a run already :-P
And BTW, Kholer already drops a chest when you kill him. I think the best idea I’ve ever heard was to make the optional bosses drop dragonite…

Yes! Dragonite, or some other material not found in dungeons would be perfect for a reward for completing all the bosses and instances. That way the reward isn’t better or worse than a speed-clear, it’s just different. The question shouldn’t be “Are complete runs now strictly better or worse than speed runs?” but rather “Which run benefits my reward goals more right now?”
Just make trash mobs drop something of minimal value. Take for exemple CoE. These little crabs in path 3. Not that many ppl are skipping them. They don’t drop a precusor, but you can drop 5-10 Tier 5 maybe 1 or 2 Tier 6 if you are lucky. The Risen in the stairs after the door bursting cannon? Some group kill, other skip. But its not a universal skip like other useless trash mobs. Rewards should be proportional to the time and effort you put into killing stuff. If the Rewards ratio is bad, people skip, if its good, people don’t skip. Simple.
Vanquisher title + Dragonite Rewards for VQing dungeon. Done.
It should not have a extra reward for speed clearing. Doing more dungeon is already a “bonus” himself.
It should work as completion pourcentage. All boss together would count as 50% of the dungeon and the trash mob 50% by themself. So a regular dungeon that provide 1 gold 50 silver, would give a 3 gold if you kill everything.
As example AC Path 1:
-15% mob killed (44 silver)
-4/5 boss killed.
Reward maximum 3 gold, current reward 1.65 gold
People need real reward, not drop possibility or they will continue skip it.
Dragonite is for ascended from NPCs level 80 so AC wouldn’t be in that list, sorry.
Is there really someone who skips Kholer despite there is a stack that makes him even easier than ever? o.o’

Heh, yeah. Especially after the patch! Now there is really no reason not to fight him.
It is a simple solution, and probably the best solution, but it is also a harder solution. Mostly because you have to balance out what the rewards quite precisely, otherwise only one of clearing/skipping will ever be done. Though I hate skipping, so I wouldn’t mind if things were levied more toward the clearing side.
