The 2 main issues in that event are the breeder from burrow #2 and the scavengers from burrow #5.

The timing on the breeder seems pretty variable (sometimes he spawns as soon as the event starts, sometimes he doesn’t spawn even when players take almost 10 seconds to kill the burrow). Not sure if this randomness is intended or some bug (or if it’s not random at all, and just depends on some other factor).

If you manage to kill the burrow before the breeder spawns, and as long as you don’t make the mistake of killing burrow #1 too soon (before cleaning up and making sure Hodgins is safe), the event becomes trivial for a group (and doable – though still pretty hard – solo).

P.S. – If you search for “Charles Bronson enjoying a day off” (without quotes) on Google Images, Hodgins’s secret identity is revealed.

That being said, good job again on another feat. I’d not thought it was possible to do the Hodgins library event solo, but good job in finding a way. Although to be honest, as the designer of that content, I did a facepalm when I saw your thread title.

Aww its not your fault the warrior profession is incredibly…. well better at everything then any other profession in the game lol.

Even though Anet has made some professions superior compared to others, this guy has godlike skills!

I hope some day all classes will be balanced. Not that I want to solo Lupicus with my ranger, but have decent traits and skills (and a not so dumb pet!)

False, they have wider selection of weapons + the highest dps in the game, but they are not better at everything.

Example 1. They can’t reflect projectiles for a team. Which is very useful in fotm.

They can, as can Elementalists and Engineers. Guardians just do that one niche better (also note, Guardians block far more projectiles than reflect, Mesmer is best equipped to reflect).

Power necro with wells for burrows, pretty sure you can do it.

You can solo the dungeon as Necro – but probably not including the burrow part^^

People need to understand that ranged dps is simply not sopost to hit as hard as melee. Were you looking at his utilities? Dodge rolls, damage stability. That is all he had.

He dies in a few hits and has nothing but mobility on his GS + dodges to live while in melee range. How can other classes even begin to expect their damage to be the same from a distance with far better survivability (mist form, arcane sheild ect ect or 1500 range for rangers + their many evades)

People really need to understand warriors have some of the lowest survivability in the game, they just see videos like this of someone who is able to correctly utilize dodge rolls to survive with high dps and think warriors are gods.

Go do high level FoTM out of every single class I cannot think of 1 that has less survivability then warriors. Its balanced, if warriors didnt do more damage then other classes there would be absolutely nothing left, low survivability, low mobility average team support. Thats it

I always thought the warrior was the class with the best health pool and the best armor…
