Arah P4, My thoughts.
how long did it take you guys to run the sparks?
I think the Simin fight is doable with that group setup, my first run in path 4 took around 2 hours (two of us were first timers to Arah entirely). The group composition was 2 elementists, 2 guardians, and a mesmer that kept disconnecting (weren’t LH eles). We still did it without the time warp though, it just comes down to how fast you can kite the sparks.
However some people have reported that there is a bug with Simin, where she would stealth at 50% and regenerate no matter what. I have run P4 numerous times now since then and never really encountered this bug.

We did that fast, but it wasn’t fast enough, she regened no matter what.

First run here too, still, could not beat it. :c
I had my first run a few days ago for Arah p4. And I can assure you its beatable even when group composition is not mesmer, warrior and guardian. In my party we had a necro, 2 guardians and 2 eles. Me and the encro were running sparks while the 2 guards and other ele were dps-ing simin. Maybe you guys did not do sparks fast enough?
Did she go stealth when she hit 50% all the time?

how fast is fast? look up some youtube videos and try remember how fast your runs were comparing to those.
I imagine it was just poor spark runs. I have done it at least a handful of times with 3 people, generally 2 warriors and 1 mesmer. Unless all 5 players were running like clerics gear, I can’t imagine your DPS was too much of a problem.
I did Simin recently. Was fine.
This is more of a l2p issue. Stop taking pvt leeches, and start coordinating.
I will note, there is a bug where sometimes she would ALWAYS go stealth every time she hit 50% hp, no matter how fast you did the Sparks. If this happens, a simple reset solved it for me.
Be prepared.
My warrior carried 18 different weapon and 2 different armor set. I have like 4 sets of axe with different sigils.
My guardian carred 4 different armor set(1 offence, 1 defense, 1 balance, 1 MF), and 10 different weapon.
I’m pretty sure your necro will have enough dps if you just use full berserker dagger/dagger with potion of undead slaying and a +10 dmg undead slaying sigil.
If you spend 6 hours on a boss, you might as well go outside and buy 2 dagger with appropriate sigil, retrait, and get consumable. Just make sure you are not the party leader.

On simin specifically, the “bug” is not lack of dps, it actually has nothing to do with dps, and everything to do with how fast you pull sparks. Intuitively, it seems like you have a certain amount of time to dps her, but actually the time she stealth’s again is determined by how high her health was when you started to dps her. For some reason the window to get her below 50% is kind of small – if she regenerates up to even 60% you’ll only be able to dps her down to 50. Make sure your spark pull is clean, and you should be able to break that 50% barrier even in a low dps group.

It works with any setup, we had a warrior, two guardians, a ranger and mesmer i think. I was guardian. The problem is the time you need until all the sparks are in place. The pathing is extremely bad – but with some experience you can do this part pretty fast. One thing is, if Simin is still fightable that one player runs down and gets some sparks already. Also i noticed that sometimes you can fight Simin for a longer time, sometimes it’s shorter. I don’t know if this is random, but maybe it has to do with the sparks part.
