We are using a really yolo setup to come up with the fastest method for a duo arah record, which we will be recording offline sometime. I was streaming us coming up with the best duo strategy for ele/ele. There is nothing mechanically difficult about fighting Lupicus (well, in my opinion), but the bugged autoattack makes it really annoying because it’s just another RNG-dependent variable added to the 1-dimensional record grinding for low man settings.

But yeah, umm… I think you have the wrong idea here because neither Austin or myself struggle to solo or duo Lupicus… consider the VOD that you linked equivalent to for example what I tried to do in this video long ago:

I was using 65003 no energy sigil no lifesteal no sword block etc, on warrior, attempting a sub 4:30 bloomhunger solo. This was probably the most obnoxious waste of time solo records I had ever tried doing. There was nothing difficult at all, just had to roll the lucky numbers on the dice. That’s pretty much the same concept of what Austin and I were doing at Lupi in the VOD you linked.

If I wanted to solo him reliably 100% of the time then I would not be taking super yolo setups :P

I just want the fastest time for it that’s all.

EDIT: Ok my ADD is showing and I went off track pretty hard but the point I was trying to make is that there is a pretty huge difference between farming for RNG for a speedkill time and struggling to just kill a boss.

When people go for 5 man records the same thing applies btw, you spend hours and hours and hours with many times people downing or screwing up big time, but it doesn’t mean it’s hard to them necessarily.

You can solo Lupi with necro in full zerker too, it’s just kinda exploitable, though.

Miku – I said the same thing somewhere here on the forums before as well. The “new” autoattack and RNG element to the encounter makes this fight annoying. Snowblind elemental source (knockback), mai trin canon phase (AOE), fire shaman (burning) as well, anyone?

And yes, I understand how to avoid fire, it just doesn’t work as one would expect it to due to obvious technical issues.

Element Two – the kill time is, as everything else with necro, god awful.

I may kitten talk as hard as Thor does, but at least my pre-bugged Lupi guardian solo times were less than 12 minutes Keepo.

I know someone who soloed lupi with an xbox360 controller before it was cool!

Whoa Quintey its best to just leave it and not worry get your opinion out but just leave it after that it doesn’t matter either way yea the auto bug is kinda annoying and id like to see it fixed (among other things) but its still doable as it is just a huge pain in the kitten as you actually have to put a lot more effort in.

It’s always fun to see the salt from you and tom, when someone scratch on your ego. As well as you most likely start insulting right after, cause you cant come up with good arguements.

The best thing on it is, that I dont even have to do much for it, didnt even say, that you are a bad player or something like that, just that you aren’t one of the top eles. When I compare you with Abe, there is a huge different, even you should notice that.

And about your Lupi thingy, wouldnt it be bad for you, if I’d come up with better Lupi kills than you? You kinda live in Arah, I do it from time to time.
