It can be done faster (I’ve done a 20 sec faster phase 1 in another attempt, phase 2 beginning sucked and it was only the second time I got to phase 3) anyway I’m not going to keep trying until someone beats it, because it was annoying as hell.

Everytime Im about to go try it, it gets beaten. xD

I used curry butternut squash soup, in fact endurance can be VERY tight even in phase 1 if you waste a dodge on a locust skill^^

Ranger isn’t – with the potential on ~6 minutes.

My fastest phase 1 with ranger so far was 3.40 with gs (and I lost at least 10 sec because I got a grub). I think a sub 9 is possible, but I dont know if sword would speed things up THAT much.

Well, gs damage is really kitten, you could have as well been using axe the, benefitting of 10% damage and not having to dodge. I’m not completely sure about sword damage but from what i saw ingame it seems to be about 150% gs/axe damage, at least.

On the other set I have axe/axe, and when I swap to that expecting a rapidfire or aoe in phase 2 I have to say autoattack dmg is by far lower than gs (I have the 10% dmg too ofc). Gs is not great, but it has decent cleaving dmg for locusts and maul is not bad. The only problem is that dodging during 3rd autoattack will almost always result in a fumble dodge = death, so I had to disable autoattack and get used to it, but I still die because of that from time to time.

Exactly my problem with GS 1.3. Kills you more often than it helps.

It appears you don’t have offhand training and 2 projectiles that hit outside Whirling Defense area struck you with their aoe splash.

I definitely have that trait just doublechecked. It is strange because yesterday I did phase 2 several times and this never happened..

You are seriously overestimating the value of reflects for phase 2 aoe. They are ground targetted projectiles. You often get lucky and they reflect right off you, but if they were to hit next to you then you won’t prevent them. According to wiki the reflection radius should be 225 but apparently that isn’t enough.

Well, this happened exactly 2 times in like 5 hours spreaded across 3 days of practice, so I guess I could take the risk and keep reflecting hoping not to die, since with 90%+ hp I’ve seen 25-26k reflections and it helps a lot for the time^^. Reflecting rapidfire is tricky though, if you are starting the axe autoattack when you cast the skill it will have like half second delay, and that can easily result in your death. Since I dont want to spam whirling defense random without seeing the animation before, I disabled axe autoattack to be sure WD starts immediatly. It still requires very good reflexes if you want to stay over 90% during the process..

There is a tell for rapidfire and I’m sure in time you will be able to predict them right before they happen the majority of the time. He kind of loses focus for a second and when he turns toward you then you know it’s coming.

But yeah, usually it’s a quite good tell.

Pretty sure a group of 2 HGH grenade engineers and 3staff elementalists(adjust group setup depending on whats better) could kill it in less than 3 minutes easily. Give or take a few seconds if you decide to use Elixir U rng aswell.

Oh, just attempted on necro and made something my second attempt. Already rendering now, although im not sure if i’ll upload it (~11:00 min, random equipment + traits, accuracy stacks and endurance food) or just do a better one (sub 10) first.

That was pretty nice. However I still believe 20 in soul reaping could help more than blood magic, I cannot find an useful adept trait in none of those lines, but I value more 20% crit dmg+DS recharge over wells recharge. Or maybe I’m heavily underestimating vampiric and vampiric precision?

Oh i just mistyped i guess. I had the DS recharge and spectral skills recharge.
