Daily fractal but no daily dungeon?
My only guess is that Anet understand that dungeons are more popular than fractals and are run more frequently day in and day out. Fractals on the other hand are a lesser run game type, and this is their way of trying to incentivize more players to play this type of content.

People run dungeons for various reasons, but fractals much less so. Fractal dailies are there to try and push the metrics up for them.
Valid points by Zalladi and Pockets… but they could at least do Daily AC dungeon path, or daily “insert dungeon” path. It’s not like it would be like a Daily Triple Trouble. lol
I’ve always found fractals to be more reliable, less irritating, less elitist-focused…. maybe all related to the whole scaling mechanic.
there used to be a daily dungeon explorer/daily dungeon story iirc, in the old system.
Because fractal rewards are so awfully RNG that they need days with guaranteed boosts.
because people do dungeons every day already. there is no need to add them to the daily “enticement to play here” rotation.
if they did that, what next, reward everyone for something else they do all the time like logging in? oh… wait….
most of the fractal daily are number 1-19. at those levels, you barely find any veterans there.
