Yeah, lets quit with the RNG. It’s one of the biggest failings of the game. We know ArenaNet doesn’t want us getting the things we want without sinking unfun levels of resources into it, but they said themselves that RNG isn’t fun.
Just give us a way to earn our rewards with a clear and solid goal achieved by playing through the content with a reasonable effort. We don’t need to get lucky or unlucky to have fun, any one of us can fulfill that foolish desire by going to a slot machine. We don’t need it in our game. It doesn’t enhance to value of our play experience, it devalues it.
Give people goals to work towards and clear, solid paths to those goals which involve the festival content. We don’t need RNG or DR if you are straight with the players.
