So a little back story for everyone reading first:

I am a stay at home wife, when my husband comes home at the normal time of 5 I like to get off the computer and spend time with him or maybe cook dinner because I enjoy it. Admittedly it is not like this every night and some nights I do stay up into the night playing. Now because of this I encounter a few problems:

No guilds in the US servers seem to be on much at this time, which means it is not often I get guild runs.
Fewer people are on, so parties are tough enough to come by.

So what am I left with? Pugs of course! Though I personally am not complaining about that, meeting new people? Yes please!

On to my point however, dungeons were already relatively difficult for someone doing pugs(even on their lvl 80’s) there were never guarantees of good players, experienced players, or polite players. Nobody has a problem ditching a bad group after only one shot at a boss(I mean really? That is silly)

With the new changes, mostly to AC, I feel a little like my game play is only to be consisted of general leveling and jumping puzzles. I like leveling and exploring and all that jazz but a nice midday dungeon is just fantastic. I didn’t care that it was a terrible pug because at least it was fun most of the time. But with all of these new changes no one will want to do this anymore. So what am I supposed to do? I feel I deserve to play just as much as everyone else does even if my schedule isn’t the ideal gaming time of day.

Why A-net? Why did you make the changes harder on the people who enjoyed a casual dungeon experience? Why not make a big raid…or make the higher level dungeons harder if people want it so much? Couldn’t we just leave one easy thing easy and let those who wanted it changed for the harder upset just this once?

Oh well, guess I’ll see how it goes in a week or two when things settle in.

Agreed and that is the greatest travesty of this increase in dungeon difficulty. It pretty much discourages PUGs that some of us relied on because we aren’t hardcore enough of players. They have essentially stated that you need great teamwork in order to do these now which is very difficult to achieve when you get into groups of players that have never run dungeons together before.

I feel like IF anything were to be buffed in AC, the spider queen should NOT have been. That’s always were the Pug fails.

This is a very good point, every pug that I have done that failed miserably was at the spider queen. Very rarely at Kholer, but most people running pugs just skipped him anyway.

My guild attempted AC multiple times, we actually had to organize a team of our best and elite to get the first path down. To me it seems like overkill.
