Dungeons tethered to opener
We can only hope they will fix this when the LFG tool is introduced on the 17th. Otherwise there will be tears beyond belief.
I’ve managed to accidentally kick entire parties out TWICE because I had opened then decided to leave the dungeon, the first time I didn’t even realize what I had done and the second time I had completely forgotten I was the one that opened.
I really don’t like kicking people in general, so accidentally throwing everyone out because I wasn’t paying attention is incredibly distressing. I know getting kicked out of a dungeon probably isn’t the end of the world, (for most people) but it’s still frustrating for everyone involved.
And sure, I could just never open another dungeon to avoid that situation, but that’s childish. Someone has to open the dungeon, and the rest of the party shouldn’t have to worry about the opener going AFK or quitting.
Why does the game do this? Is it limitation with how they have the instance set up? because it’s getting really really annoying and I don’t see the purpose.
This has happens way too often. The last 3 times I’ve tried to do TA F/U we had the person who opened the dungeon leave on the final boss. I suppose I could avoid this by repeating story mode for all the characters I use for dungeons and making sure I’m the first in but I shouldn’t have to do this in the first place and then puts me in the position of being unable to actually leave for whatever reason without screwing everyone else plus my internet connection occasionally goes to crap without warning.
