A static group I run with tested this. 5 People, 100 runs of level 28, 38 and 48. The average drop chance for a fractal skin for us was:
28: 1/16 chance
38: 1/8 chance
48: 1/4 chanceThat seems fair to me. If you only have time for a 48 a day, you’d still get 1-2 skins a week. If you have time for a 28, 38, and 48, you’d get a skin every 2 days.
Even casual players that only do a 28 a day get a skin every 2 weeks or so.
Leave it as it is please Anet.

Ok so you’ve done a test of 500 runs at 3 different tiers? Or 100 with 5 people consistent? Share your numbers. Its very hard for my numbers to be wrong after how many we did. It also may be hard to believe because, for example : One person could do 10 48s before getting a drop while someone else gets 4 in a row. RNG, but theres the numbers after a very long test.

It seems to always be the people in great situations whom has no sympathy for others. I’m no good at statistics but I’d say there was a 100% chance of you complaining if you were in the shoes of people whom ran 100’s without anything to show for it, Adinay.

Anyone who says the skins are 5% must be lucky. I’m sitting at 500+ runs and have 4 skins that’s about 1% drop rate. The skin grind is dumb when you leave it to rng. Anet plz give us a way to trade relics for skins.

I do lvl 20s and 30s every single skin I have gotten has been in the lvl 20s and my first (and only) ascended box was at lvl 11 >.> and it was knights Q.Q then like a month later I did a lvl 5 run with my guild and got a precursor (for spear Q.Q) Basically I have good rng at low lvls but not the kind I want XD
