well despite i would totally expect it from anet, would be pointless rewarding a fractal box for fotm skins completion.

Maybe it would count towards placement on the Fractal Leadeboard?

They removed the ladderboard because new players were being left by their girlfriends, in pvp i guess.

P.S. i tried to right click a skin and i can t get to fractal collection…

All the collections have green background, the picture you linked has purple… I’d say it is fake.

I don’t know what to say… Why can’t we unlock it? Why doesn’t it have a reward, but only AP? And why is the background purple.. This is so weird.

I have multiple extra skins in my bank, one from pre-fractured and another I got on Tuesday. Neither has a right click option besides Use, Unlock in Wardrobe (greyed out) and Destroy. None of the applied skins have this option either.

My Flame and Frost achievements are also absent of a fractal master achievement. Either we’re all bugged and you aren’t, you’re bugged and we aren’t, or you’re lying and using beta footage. This being the internet, I would hope you can understand why we would jump straight to lying. That and your username.

i think i just unlocked the achievment by unlocking all fractal skins to the wardrobe thats why i can see it and you guys not..
maybe ArenaNet is still working on the achievment or it is somehow buged..
i just wanted to show you guys that there IS actually a fractal skin achievment

Probs bugged. Probs have to have all of them to activate the collection.

As an owner of the Fractal’s skin collection, I can confirm that YouThisReadWrong is telling the truth.

Also as he said, looks like the archiv is buged or something….it doesn’t even give you the AP really. My bets: Arenanet is still working on that one.

PD: only works with post-fracture skins.

My guess is that Arenanet is not done with the achievement but for some reason people that have the full collection can see it. From the photos and the video it is clear that that achievement does not give a title, nor any kind of reward. Maybe they haven’t decided on what. It doesn’t make sence that collecting some rare armors will give a lesser vision crystal and all the fractal skins – nothing.

Still unconvinced.

The Achievement window opened, yet it did not unfold any of the tabs on the left column of the panel, as it does with every other achievement.

So, in my opinion:

• You’re lying and putting an awful lot of effort into it (which would be unsettling).
  Or
• Random client glitch (Not surprising from ANET).

It’s true it’s true….. a friend of mine has the full collection with that 3ap achiev unlocked. You guys just stop being paranoid freaks. “OMG he must be lying this is the internetzz!!!”
I had a picture but I didn’t bother saving it.
It’s just a bug, that’s all. Just like the “DELETE ME” achievement during the f&f. I dunno why people are freaking out. This thingy can mean that:
- the idea was scrapped (fractalers are sploters and shouldn’t be rewarded);
- they, as the incompetent kittens that they are, have no idea what to do and are holding it back for the time being;
- it should be ingame but anet messed up, they’re late and now they’re probably gonna come up with some pathetic excuse on how the delay was intended.

To be honest considering the rewards you get in Fractals, it reflects the achievement pretty well.

By the way it is indeed under Flame and Frost for some weird reason and purple instead of green. Pretty sure if someone would actually be bothered to put so much effort to Photoshop it, they would realise what the correct colour is. Unless it’s real of course.

Also you need all of them to be able to right-click an unused Fractal skin and view the collection. Jerem tested it but didn’t get the option since he’s only missing the Axe. xD

In That_Shaman’s datamining I read something about “gain a certain amount of EXP in a map without dying or changing the map” for the fractal collection… But then again, I wouldn’t be surprised by such a stupid thing.

Alright. So if we give the guys with full collections the benefit of the doubt, that likely means that there is a Fractal Weapon collection, but it’s currently not enabled for whatever reason. That wouldn’t surprise me. I fully expect ANet to release additional collections over the next year(s) as more hooks to keep people playing.

Personally speaking, I wouldn’t mind there being a Fractal Weapon collection, but if there is going to be one, then we need a much more reliable way of acquiring them. (Either we can purchase them with normal/Pristine Relics, or you get a Fractal Weapon Box for completing high level Fractals.)

When you complete the Fractal Weapon Collection, you get a box that gives you your Fractal Weapon of choice.

On a related note, I’d actually love to see a one-time reward of a Fractal Weapon Box for completing Fractal Frequenter.

That would be nice. Could also do something like…

+1 dungeon tokens of your current run type (or of all dungeons) when you get dungeon hobbyist.

I doubt anything would be possible for salvaging without being overpowered. The +1 dungeon token would be nice, but not gamebreaking in any way.

2 Years, 2 Fractal Skins, Mabe in 10 years I’ll get all of them.

I have been playing fractals for 2 years with my main, ele. And i got every skin but: dagger, scepter, focus, trident. I have fully equipped all my alts with fractal skins except the one character i INTENDED to equip with fractal skins in the first place and i can’t tell you how frustrating it is.

Over the weekend I realized it was probably due to something like this. It seems unlikely that there would be no loot reward for putting this much time and effort into Fractals, so I’m guessing this was an unintended hint regarding the fractal collection achievement.

I am optimistic that the track hasn’t been implemented yet because there is no actual way to choose your skin. I’m sitting at 17 /19, just missing torch and scepter. 3 extra Daggers and an Axe sitting in the bank, plenty of others that got transmuted pre-fractured.

I’m unreasonably optimistic that it hasn’t been implemented due to ANet preparing a reward buff for Fractal players, which may be lumped into that update.

I’ve been optimistic for 20 months XD
