Just got in an “exp, P3 80s only” party for SE. Two low APS guys yet lvl 80. I could feel the troll. It was actually Optimus Prime and ubershaun on alt accounts yo o/

Hello, Dungeon people. So I unlocked Arah, and this is what I see: “Selling P1/2/3, X amt of gold”, or “P1/2/3, only experienced players, 5000000000000 AP required”

Wait so…how is one supposed to even get into Arah? If you weren’t there for release you basically can’t play it? LoL

First you do the story mode. Then you enter explorable. After opening the LFG tool you click on “Advertise party” under the Arah section. Then you type in “Path X, anyone welcome” as your advertisement text. 5 minutes later you play the dungeon.

Unless… you only want to get carried.

I know a solid group in CoE when I can have everyone listen or understand NOT to aggro the champ wolf before the Agent does.

It shows:
1) There’s people who will actually read or know the easier mechanics for a successful run.
2) It shows there aren’t any pseudo-elitists who would say “lol just dodge it kitten” when it instantly does like 14k damage and ignoring the fact it is a pug run where the skill-base of everyone can be all over the place.

Unfortunately, as I pug all 3 paths of CoE on a daily basis, there will always be that one guy who thinks he’s above everyone else and aggro the champ like a boss. And everytime, everytime someone does that, at least 2 people drops. Now, we can say that “lol kitten those 2 sucks” or we can just say “wow, can’t you be a group player and just let us full DPS without having to worry about a ridiculously random high AoE move from the wolf?”

Still, when I see a competent CoE pug party, it’s a beautiful sight to behold. Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen that often. I’d say maybe 1/10 pug runs I’ll finally be able to have a group that can burn p3’s Destroyer boss in one phase. Usually, 2 phases is the norm. 3 phases if there are 2 or more incompetent players. I might play the DPS guard role for p3 just so I can practice timing Aegis instead of seeing for the x amount of time someone was unaware of the AoE circle.

Oh yeah, that’s certainly a good alternative.

Cept all I had was some staff guard pulling the wolf to the stack instead of initially blocking the hit alone.

(Actually I should do it on Warrior with Endure Pain, ty for the tip.)

Block→might is nice. Better in CoF, with the trigger-happy flamethrower dudes that can get you to 25 stacks in 3 seconds.

But yeah, hoping for an odd, quick CoE run is the reason I still run CoE.

You can bait out the leaps with every class. Evades are usually enough. But it can be risky if you try it on a necro. x)

You really should mace 5 them instead of blocking.

I prefer not to trigger defiance on the champ before the fight even starts, plus if you CC too early (the split-second tell is extremely unforgiving) you don’t interrupt the skill, and they end up using it on you/your party anyway. Plus, free might.

I’m not saying that shield can’t mitigate the damage, but the knockback is more beneficial for your team.

using shield 5 on the flamethrower just to get 25 might is a waste of time. it’s faster to just kill the thing outright.

As a warrior, longbow 5 and he blows both leaps without moving an inch.

Had a group this morning for AC: “P1/P3 EXP ZERK SPEED.” Ok, sounds fun. Join up, it’s 4 warriors and me (s+f/LH ele). It’s a bit of a joke, but ok, DPS is going to be enough and at least they won’t die. 10 seconds into the dungeon, party leader has called a kick on one of the other warriors (who had Dolyak Signet up for a moment, but quickly turned it to Fury… must have been a misclick). He says “Accept,” everyone continues to ignore him… starts counting down… leaves group and kills the instance.

I’ve never seen someone closing an instance because a player accidentally put up Dolyak Signet, but first time for everything I guess.

Yesterday there was a PUG thief who must’ve thought holy crap revealed training is such an awesome trait.

Result: in the middle of the golem fight in CoE, he used SR whilst in S/P.

I have sat for the last couple of months watching. Watching idiots spray their ignorant kitten across these forums like they’re hosing down open world content with their ‘healing’ ele’s water fields.

And I have sat and watched. But this. This is an artwork. This thread has evolved into something else. Something beyond any of my wildest dreams.

I’m here to tell you (if you haven figured it out already) that you have done a marvellous job of making the entire community align to hate you. This includes myself, and I’m a very loving person in general.

I rarely visit the dungeon forums anymore since the cancer is just to strong for me, but this thread made it all worth it, this is some 10/10 entertainment that i enjoyed reading and find ridiculous that it was posted in the first place.

in the grand schem of things… it may not be all that …
