Fiery Whirl

This is a high priority spell for the Fiery Greatsword. It deals high damage on low cooldown and evades for more than a second. You can therefore choose to save this to deal with incoming attacks. Fiery Whirl can hit your target for a maximum of 8 times depending on position, target size and freeness of movement: if used against a wall your enemies will take all hits. It is also possible to use this spell in combination with Lightning Flash by teleporting back in front of your target right after you Fiery Whirl through it thereby effectively striking the target with a double Fiery Whirl.

We have a slight misunderstanding there.

I was not talking about how the pvp round developes but about the game mode.
I’m used to calling the game mode by its basic feature. 3 positions to hold to accumulate points to me is 3 point domination. 5 positions you can possibly hold would be 5 point domination (to me). At least that’s what the crowd I play(ed) pvp in this and other games always called them.
If I’m deviating from a more standardised nomenclature, sorry, then I was unaware of that.
I meant this opposed to game modes like capture the flag and variants, assault style maps and similar.

Holy crap, I forgot to tell you guys!!! I encountered one!! A Nomad bearbow ranger!!! I had my instance destroyed (by someone in a guild that I’ve got mad respect for… really ticked me off) and was so angry/frustrated, I joined a “P1, Will Carry” Arah run. Got to Lupi and everyone went down in phase 2, except for this ranger. I was starting to get a little suspicious, but, whatever, right? PHIW ftw, and I knew what I was getting into. I continued doing my best to stick to his zombie tail as he chased down this ranger. Got him to phase 3 and he caught up to the ranger and did 2 bubbles in a row. I’m thinking after the 1st one, “Ok…. he’s still alive. PuGs traiting for survival. Whatever.” Then the 2nd one. And he was still around a quarter health. I just shook my head. I’ve never seen someone tank something like that in gw2. I asked, and it was confirmed: Nomad’s gear. Wow.
