I can only agree about the part that food isn’t a thing to call people out in AC. Much less talking about being more efficient in a path where 80% of the time your food don’t work and don’t make a difference the rest of the time. The speaking tone could be improved, too

Do dead people (not in down state) scale up events ? Is there some kind of ‘inactive’ timer that make them don’t count in the event ? Especially @ Vinewrath. My guess is YES, but i just had an argument with someone saying they don’t count after 20 seconds in the scaling.

I know, nothing to do with dungeon stuff but… People are kind of annoying with this, and if someone have a clear test to show it… Well, you get it.

Nothing official is about it, but it’s been confirmed by Wethospu a year ago that the only thing that matters is being in the event radius. (Alive, downed, or defeated) Here’s a link to the reddit post regarding it. (Link)

Yeah, i knew this (and i trust it) but the guy i linked it to said that was only for boss blitz, not applying to every event in the game, and wouldn’t even show me a proof. He said that after 20 seconds dead, the player didn’t count in the scaling.

My opinion is this is wrong, as i’ve lead many TT runs where i saw dead scaling up regardless of time, and every VW seemed to go the same way, but i don’t have CLEAR answer to this by myself…

So it bugs me, and don’t know what to think :P

Your friend is just in denial then. There’s no reason to assume they’d build it differently. The burden of proof is on him since there’s convincing evidence to the contrary.

It never happened.

67-shotting, 71-shotting or heck, sometimes even 43-shotting lupi happens all the time, though.

You missed the part where the food was sent for free and he still didn’t want it, that’s what the point was lol. It was funny to me, same as the other day when I sent a guy 10% CM pots and he sent it back and used his 6% or whatever they were ones.
But somehow it became about power food for power capped dungeon, which it wasn’t, then it was about burrows because whole dungeon is just burrows >_> Grasping at straws is a fine art.

Also yeh your tone could be improved then you wouldn’t get so many deleted posts.

Well, I will say, if I were to be sent 10% pots when I was using 6% pots, it’s not because I don’t see the benefit, but because if I’m using 6% pots it’s because I didn’t feel it was worth my own money to use 10% pots, and I sure as hell wouldn’t see fit to spend other people’s money on 10% pots. I’d appreciate the offer, but If I’m not willing to spend my own money I wouldn’t want someone else to spend theirs for me for sure. Either way I hate low level dungeons so boring without real speed run tactics (so no pugs).

I hear ya, but again, I’d still send it back I’ll spend my own money when I see fit to do it. I have buddies willing to send me thousands of gold because they don’t need it, but I would never accept it, because that’s just not something I find acceptable for myself.

Oh, I also have other people send pots to me because I can’t be kitten d to represent any bank guild I have and pick them up for dungeons.

One question regarding cliffside fractal. And I hope my English is good enough to make myself clear :P

On the part with the two seals, where we kill first a mob, hit the seal, go to the other seal etcetc. A thief can permablind the second mob on the first seal, so it doesnt regenerate, right? So, can an ele achive the same thing? Idk, with earth elemental just eating the hits?

Can’t tell you exactly how it’s done, but yes and Ele can babysit it such that you need one less hit than leaving it alone would.

Any class can keep the other chanter busy just by running around the corner and LoSing his attacks. Blinds just make it easier.
