Half an year already? Pathetic. At least say it “we won’t do anything”. We get mad 1 week and that’s it. I despise with my living soul this childish silence “if I don’t look maybe it will go away”.

Sorry, it was me. Basically after doing a few benchmarks,

  • this thread: ~1.5s load times
  • old thread: ~3.6s load times

ANet didn’t optimize their db good enough and large threads create unnecessary bottlenecks… and annoyances

I wish Dungeons or Raids in Hots will be more dynamic and unpredictable. For example, each instance will yield mobs at different spawning points as well as change bosses around so that you will not face the same boss each time and in some cases your party might face 2 or 3 bosses at the same time. Therefore, the dungeons will not be so repetitive and gets dull really fast. This will ensure more replay value.

You’d have to make a beta character since the raid is in the new map. Beta characters are level 80 and have gear. The question is if you pre-purchased on your EU account. I’m not going to on mine since I don’t use it as much as my NA account.

And no, I never sold any path, but I will try to solo and sell p2 on my main today. Yesterday, I failed at Lupi, trying to oneshot, and today I try again with maxed out gear (I dropped 150 Gold for this).

And even if I’m not the best player in this game, trying to oneshot Lupi SOLO is still not easy, you have to know everything about phase 1 and 2, place the wall perfectly, max out your crit etc. and even then it might fail the os and you have to go thru phase 3. It’s not like press one button and win, not at all, in pugs, where he burns thru phase 1 and there are enough targets to ensure the oneshot with wall, yes, it’s very cheap, but solo, no.

I tried to solo oneshot Lupi yesterday for many hours and couldn’t pull it off… It is definately harder than doing fractals 50 as five in a decent PUG or anything like that.

I mean, the first boss in p2 can be perma reflected, that is real cheap, Lupi requires a perfectly set up wall in a second and 5 minutes of constant kiting and dodging, as solo. That is not cheap.

And btw, why would anyone solo p2 with guard if he can just faceroll war? There must be some reason to play guard instead of warrior.

tl;dr OS Lupi takes much skill. You have to, like, spend 5 minutes soloing through phase 1, kiting him around and stuff. It’s not a cheap tactic at all, but a challenging display of skill.

You will not be able to revive players that have been completely defeated when a raid encounter is active (originally it was only during enrage). Downed is okay, so you can still get that clutch banner res off. Once a player becomes completely defeated you won’t get the interact prompt to res them.

The animation isn’t clear enough, people can’t see it over all the effects and they kept overlapping my cloud with their reflects when I wasn’t calling it on ts. Needs a big visual upgrade.

yea, i end up always pinging it so they have an idea. Also it is a bit odd to have necro contribute anything to the group so pugs are gonna take awhile to get used to it xD

Unless there is AR or something I don’t know why you would need full ascended for raids. And from what I have heard, AR isn’t a factor for raids.

Yeah, I don’t see how they can balance around full ascended when ascended gear have wildly different stats. Will they be balanced around runes and sigils as well? Those are a big contributor to stats.

Also, they can’t say they aren’t balancing around specific team comps, but then also say an ascended/exotic mix might not cut it later in the raid. Having one team comp over another is a bigger change than asc/exo mix vs full asc.

They’ll be hard at release, I’m sure. The real questions is: will they still be difficult after 3 years of nerfs’n’neglect?

Pretty soon the raid bosses will start bubbling the walls, teleporting into them and going invisible for several seconds and teleport all the way to Singapore and back every time you move when they’re casting their shadowstep/teleport animations.

Then they will never get fixed or addressed, ever.
