We just arrived at Lupicus. Some people are reading up on the fight. We missed a champ spider and its elites near Lyssa/magecrusher but I don’t think the other guys want to go back and kill it.

Not killing everything then? Tell them they should have read the lfg. Once you make an exception to the rule, society will break down and they might move to skipping mobs. If you’re not careful, soon It’ll be gasp stacking. If they didn’t want to kill everything they should make their own lfg. ;p

They started getting a little exasperated when I would charge into every pack of risen Elites along the way.

Carried them through lupi. They all died and had I to solo it. Onto grenth.

Finished Grenth. Trying to kill the Champion orrian hunter. I ahven’t seen a single focus pull or focus reflect from the mesmer who is just using GS.

At simin. THis party has negative dps.

Killed simin. Dealing with some spectral elites, then to the legendary giants!

We finally gave up on the giants because they have a skill that restores them to 100% hp when they hit 25%. Shout heals confirmed OP. We also would have had to kill a pack of ~30 elites.

We just finished but did not realize the dream of killing everything, sadly. This experience, however, is proof that some enemies in dungeons are meant to be skipped.

Next do SE p2 full clear/no stacking/phiw builds.

wait what? that’s not hard. I do that, whenever I do dungeons. PRAY TO YOLO, Amen

I don’t get why SE2 has such a bad rep. You just kill things and it’s a similar length to most dungeons aside from the ridiculously short ones like CoF1.

Especially if you have a competent group, SE2 is quite quick because once something dies there is nothing to wait on. Only the NPC walking is slow, everything else is as fast as you can do it.

Aren’t the giants part of some optional event where you need to help some pact troops to build a cannon that kills them?

Yeah they are. :P You can one shot them. Each group of risens has one mob carrying the gear, if you hit the proper one it will “drop” it and rush on you. So it’s best if thief uses cluster bomb, then stealth, carry the gear to the cannon, and repeat (3? times)

Yes, three gears. But then the NPCs – to quote Detha – have to Build it themselves. And you have to guard them while a group of respawning elite undead try to kill them. >_<
