As for the shoulders, I find amost all human shoulders ugly which is why I bought the T3 ones…

You really do need help.

Like I said before, the karma pit fighter gloves, shoulders, and boots compliment any outfit. They are absolutely in vogue.

I suggest more effort in finding a top that isn’t big furry boob hair and a skirt (like vigil) that while sexy, isn’t too much. Hold on while I find an example.

First: karma pit fighter shoes, gloves, and shoulders. hotw chest, aetherblade leggings

Second: same as first except Phalanx shirt and skirt

I mean, the boots fit with the skirt I have as of now, that much is OK. I need help on gloves + shoulders. I’ll cry a bit if I need to part with my T3, but it’s ok i guess ?

From top to toe, I currently have :
- CoF helmet => couldn’t care less
- T3 shoulders => need rework
- Gladiator chest, which I kinda like
- Arah gloves => need rework
- Pit fighter skirt => cute and trendy but could be changed for phalanx
- Draconic boots, could be reworked, but I don’t want the legs to be too covered.

Okay well, give me the day. I personally hate the shoulders so I won’t be all that much help but I will do my best.

I feel like the pit fighter shoulders, shoes and gloves look too cheap/plain.

BTW, dies wise : I’d go for gold/white + blueish/purplesih to match my current weps (fractal sword and mystic focus) and my future leggie (Sunrise).

Yay! So glad, you do look ultra fab.

Samples of armor with a neutral dye to see the difference in saturation and material, plus a dyed sample (with a variation in gloves). The blue ice parts should be dyed with a more metallic, less vibrant dye (F&F?) but I don’t have them on this character. I’ll upload more later maybe…

The fifth picture is a winner in my book. Although, fur boob will never be my choice of top

Well my alternative set is fishnets + gladiator top. Does look good. Except my current boots (phalanx) dont really go with it anymore.

My old fishnets look was T3 shoulders, gladiator top, barbaric legs, cm boots and gloves. It was a bit of a scruffy look but it was pretty good. I just wish I could get cm armour without the rust and dirty look.

what possesses you guys to use those horrible fishnet legs, seraph boots and barbarian tops :O

lol, well I don’t use the fishnets, but I’m thinking Ena wants his heavy armored human to have a lot less clothes than most of my light armored characters

I’m still not satisfied with the shoulders though.

Could someone try the following :
- Pit fighter/Splint/Barbaric shoulders
- Fur Boobs/named top (my old one, just saying)
- Phalanx gloves
- Phalanx skirt
- Phalanx shoes (for high heels, anyone got other ones ?)

Only heels I know of are phalanx, and to a lesser extent the whispers boots…

I can pay for one (preferably not more) gem store skin and I have some transmutation crystals left so it’s up to you and how good a skin you can make :p

First and foremost, I think you should consider changing your guard’s hair style. She looks… too proper to fit in any revealing outfit ^^!

Secondly, black is sexy. Form fitting is sexy. Those two make the revealed skin parts look more desirable, me thinks.

Then, I remember that you’re making Sunrise :\… Hence the final look with a more angelic feel to it.

I have not yet finished my complete set of dungeon equipment, but I’m already stuck on the much more important question: Once I dare to invade Tyrias dungeons, what outfit do I wear? I can see myself hugging the floor in many a dungeon to come, but if I do so, I at least want to do so in style .

I like the Whispers skirt and HotW masque, but can’t decide on a shirt to wear with it. What do the experts of stylish dungeon invasion think of the three possibilities in the upper row? Any other suggestions that may go better with that outfit?

Do I have to get shoulders/gloves to round out the outfit? I rarely find any of those (on any character) that I’m satisfied with, so I turn them off most of the time.

And how about boots? I’ve been looking for something that covers the ankles (I don’t like the stripes the whispers skirt has at ankle height so I’m trying to hide those) without looking like I’m wearing a couple of trash cans instead of boots.

The lower row is what I’m wearing now (I’m saving my transmutation stones for serious armour), and I’ll most likely keep one of those outfits for my WvW equipment, but I admit that they are not really original or stylish .

So, it was Braham top, Phalanx skirt, Protector (T3) shoulders, gloves and boots and hidden headgear. You have an option to hide the shoulder and it still looks as nice.

Sandy has pointed out that this armor will look fantastic on a mesmer with infinite light. If you want to stack legendaries, it looks absolutely drool-worthy with Eternity, Minstrel and Bifrost, too. I have a mesmer friend who does that.

Uploading now! 25 minutes remaining. For some reason the sound is a bit off, and the music cuts off strangely, but i didn’t want to re render all the footage. The run still was suprisingly fast, we did it under 12 minutes!

I tried the temple slippers but since the stockings of the phoenix leg armour don’t cover the feet, the small gap looks a bit off. Same with the human C2 boots. I rather like them, but they still do look a bit off with the armour because they come up slightly too high.

I’ve been playing my asuran thief a lot recently and I feel it is desperately in need of a makeover. I am absolutely terrible at asuran fashion; I like the new scarlet’s shoulders, and maybe the cultural tier two for a sort of techy look, but beyond that I am at a loss for ideas on pants/boots and helmets. I need some fashion theory crafting tips for tiny brightly coloured thieves.

P.S dyes in the picture are just generic, not what I plan on using.

I have a soft spot for vigil and a soft spot for karma pit fighter armor. But I still think the braham coat looks best.

I’m afraid I’m too picky even when it comes to Asura fashion. There aren’t many armour sets I really like to see on my Asura. My in-house fashion consultant (aka my youngest daughter) advised me to take the upper right outfit (I think it’s the Caudecus chest piece?) because she doesn’t approve of the narrow sleeves on the other shirts. I’ll have to play around with gloves to see if I can’t find a way to make the center outfit work after all (which kind of turns out to be my favourite the more I look at it).

The boots are likely to stay the way they are in those screenshots, since I noticed those come in an exotic berserker version, and boots are the one piece of armour I haven’t had any luck with getting a buy order filled at the trading post (plus I’d save on a transmutation crystal that way).

Shirt could be decided by my limited funds in the end (I haven’t run either Caudecus or HotW much yet, but since I need extra HotW tokens for the head piece, it might be easier to get the missing tokens for the shirt from CM).
