Stating if it’s for light, medium or heavy would go a long way. They all tend to dye differently.

Right now I’m not at home so I can’t give any advice but I can plow trough my dye collection once I get home.

I know a fix. Delete your sylvari and make a human, play the game as it is intented to play. Screw all those asura, norn, sylvari and charr bugusers who have all their weapons bug into their armor.

Also Sil, I’ll need to make a light sylvari in a little while to figure it out for you. My best guess is spitfire dye at the moment but I’ll look.

Went back and checked spitfire dye. Pretty much the same problem as with all red dyes. By now I’m at the point where I believe there is simply no coulour that gives me a bright red with my female sylvari light T2.
But maybe someone will come up with something I overlooked, that’s why I asked here.
In the end, if all else fails, there are still some total makeover kits in my bank and maybe it is time for a new look entirely.

Have you tried blood & brick dyes ?

I’ve just started looking at it now. So, Black Cherry is nice and red/black but it does have a bit of that pink/purple like you were saying ill attach a screen.

Brick is okay.

Evening red looks nice to me.

As I was checking the different scepter looks, I had to relog to my human. On my ele I couldn’t see a single weapon skin in preview, because every single one bugged into my asuran priory armor. :<

Well i checked what i could come up with and I think Enameled Emblaze is pretty much the only one that gets close to what you are after.

(Also Lilith’s suggestions if you don’t feel like spending ~30g on a dye.)

I guess there really is no way to get what I had in mind due to the colour gradient that is inherent to the armour. Oh well. I’ve been fancying a different hairstyle for some time now. Might as well go all the way.

Truth be told, If I had known what the human light T3 looks like at the time I created my little ele, she would have become a human. Some parts of that set basically scream “Archmage”, especially the shoulders.
That’s what you get for spontaneously deciding on your race instead of checking the looks on all races beforehand.
But I’m not going to create a new character just for that. I love my little flower anyway.

Ok, even sunset came out too dark for my taste, so I gave up and remodelled her. A new face, new hair, new skin colour, new whatnot. Thank you and sorry one last time to all who tried to help me.
Since I somehow feel I owe you this: This is the result.

I have to admit that I’m still uncertain about the final hair colour. I might go a bit more towards yellow in the end.
Please be gentle with your critique, she’s a delicate flower.

Eh. Chest 1 would be the most fitting, but… those boots… those boots…
If only it weren’t so kitten hard to find decent boots for a heavy character. Ugh.
You can also try priory chest and pit fighter; pit fighter in particular looks interesting with the upper side of the leggings. Even though I dig priory and whispers more… the more I look at them.
About the boots, eh. Whispers is ok only if you dye pants and boots of a dark colour so it doesn’t show that they’re “open” on the back side; I don’t dislike the vigil boots, especially with priory/vigil/whispers. They’re pretty cool. Going on the realm of small boots, hm… draconic and pvp heavy plate, I guess. The latter boots look bugged on the preview so dunno if they are ingame. Not wurf it probably.
Do you necessarily have to use those shoulders? Well, priory is the chest that fits them the most. I have a hard time deciding between that and whispers, they’re both so cool.

P.S. Why those pants? Why not whispers? The aether ones look like a hybrid between a steampunk sweatshirt [hah] and yoga pants.

E: You know what, I’d do priory + whispers myself if it weren’t for the fact I already bought the other set, LOL.

E2: whispers gloves look better with vigil boots, from what I can see. My armor dye is a bit random but golden looks glorious on whispers.

I like those pants because they are so form fitting, and looks like wet leather dyed in Abyss and the cinch in the waist just makes her quietly sexy to me. Let me check the priory chest a bit later, as for the whisper, it also enhances the waist and the chest just draws attention nicely mmm.. mmm…

I’m also looking for another option for shoulder, gloves and boots. I want them to fit not too loose and relatively small in size.

P.S. need moar knee-high boots!
