So with the imminent release of those new, really beautiful wings, I was happy to see that I had the perfect character for them in my second ele. I am a little disappointed that our first full back wing set is not the lore relevant Largos wings, but I have to say that these wings are just so over the top and awesome that pretty much everyone will be wearing them, assuming they are a gem store item (probably no less than 800 gems a piece). I wonder though, if it will actually be a black lion rare chest drop. That would disappoint a lot of folks, and make a few others really happy. So who knows.

Yeah, Gab, I think the Rev + wings + Anise outfit would look great. And possibly different, since I bet everyone will be running around with any new revenant specific armor that may come out.

PS. I redid my main Asura ele. I got sick of the same ol’ look, Asura t3 and whatnot, and Taimi hair, and brought her back to feeling like her true self.

Man… you guys got me pumped about the new wings.. but I soon found out my engi looks awful with them… I tried making them fit…but I don’t think I’ll get them.

I would like to add that the wings open up a new kind of visual challenge. Stick them on a charr or big norn and you won’t see much in melee besides big feathery thingies sometimes.

Already happened when a bunch of crows power-res in PvP. Cannot kitten knock the down body away >.>

It is too rigid when you run around and up close, it has this shiny plastic texture. It looks like you are wearing a pair of huge props.

Agreed. I’m very thrown off by how they look while moving. Standstill, they’re amazing. So basically they’re best on an afk character. Haha

Ok, since you resurrected the thread. I need halp. For my rev.
I’m in total panic because I just CAN’T PICK a nice hair/eye/skin combo. I’m determined to follow either the “lore” scheme for rev (misty grey, bright red) or at least the colour of weapons. I’m gonna use fractal weapons but I don’t have the sword… so it’ll be bolt.
That’s the freaking problem, you see, I can’t decide if I should go for a blue or a red.
The entire outfit will be pale, and the only colour will be the hair/weapon. I THINK my favourites are the bolt blue and the chili red. Red atm has an advantage over the others because it gives a nice “kick” to the outfit and it’s rev-scheme friendly. Just the exact colour of some rev animations.
I’m pretty sure about the face (not sliders, yet) and hairstyle, but if you got combos that might knock me on my kitten … I’m all ears. Eyes.

I like deep blue hair and dark red eyes but I’m more biased to dark red hair and some lighter colored eyes. Are you gonna use the Anise outfit or the phalanx set? What’s about her name?

For Saoirse? Sylvari, hands down. No argument on that. Norns are the opposite of what I saw in that trailer.
