Magic Find for The Entire Party in Dungeons
Magic find doesn’t belong in dungeons. It should be kept out as an open world PvE farming tool, nothing more.
They should’ve fixed the loot tables on bosses and made chest drops better (Adding more cores/lodestones, higher chance of rares/exotics, etc. etc.)
All magic find does in dungeons is detract from the groups effectiveness and makes the dungeons harder than they need to be because bosses will take longer to die, or people will die more easily because they’re dropping stats for magic find.
It’s a step in the wrong direction and it’s appalling that this is being endorsed by the developers.
acutally is a good idea, just have no idea as to how it would work.
the only way that I can think of is to take the average magic find from the team, but that’d just nerf teams looking for high magic find. That or give a boost to magic find (as in wvw when outnumbered) with higher magic find given to more difficult dungeons and even more on the more difficult paths. Ex. Arah p4 should give like 3x the magic find as p3.

I think that it won’t make a difference. Most players are already wearing MF in dungeons and you haven’t noticed.
If you’re concerned about what the players in your PUG are wearing, ask them to link their gear. It’s unlikely that people will bother to transmute MF gear and make it identical to their real gear.

That would work, only because 20 levels after 80 is like 3-4 days of casual play.

In some harder dungeons, there is a huge difference between running MF gears and running specific, non-glass cannon, gears.

100 skill points = 1% perm Magic find on your character. Cap it at 300% or w/E todays cap is going to be. Now leave that useless stat out of items….
