Why does this boss spawn so many spiders????
This path is not doable.

Now this is an interesting question. I don’t know much about the lore of the nightmare tree and why it spits out so many spiders in that path. All I can guess is that the npc the tree consumes in that path (I don’t remember which one ) has a thing for spiders?

edit: yes it is doable, either chain reflects or kite spiders around

I was pugging today and this boss wiped us. I was on my Warrior and we had no reflects and the animation for the spider spawn attack is very hard to see, so I would appreciate it if something could be done to fix a boss that is too hard to beat for pugs.

My super organized group that can kill Lupi in 3 minutes wiped on this boss 10 times before we rage quit. How come a lvl55 dungeon boss is harder than a lvl80? I demand compensation for armor repairs and an immediate nerf on this boss.

For the record, it CAN be done even if you mess up the first attempt (like last night for me). You can clear out spiders near the entrance, dodge when tree shakes to prevent spider adds, have ranged go in and lay down some good attacks, run out when back recluse spiders start charging you. Let them reset, rinse repeat.

Did my usual TA set for the first time in a few months only to find that the Foward/Up boss is now broken!
Instead of being able to use the ultimate ranged tactic you now get swarmed by spiders! You can’t even stand on the roots to get away!
I’m only a casual player and its ridiculous that dungeon paths are being broken so only people who play eight hours a day can do them. Seriously with the nerf to CoF farming how else are players like me meant to keep up with the ‘no-lifers’!?
Anet c’mon! CoF has demonstrated that dungeons are meant to be the easy content in the game, you can’t take away our only source of income and buff the already difficult dungeons!!!1!1!

The path is too hard and something needs to be done, it’s that simple. I cannot even get my rewards from spending hours trying to kill this boss. I’m glad the dungeon tokens were fixed and that the dungeons actually gives money now, but that reward system is no good if people can’t access it.

Please nerf. Its far too hard, I dont have time to spend hours in this dungeon and then find that the final boss is unbeatable. The spiders are too much for my PVT gear. This is not fair, this dungeon wasted my time. I demand compensation!

This boss is too hard. Reflects don’t work on the black widows and if you wipe you’re screwed, is this really how this boss was designed?

He’s not trolling. I ran TA with him the other day and even the two of us combined couldn’t even scratch the boss.

I managed to kill the boss with my party.

BUT HE DIDNT DROP TWILIGHT FOR ANY OF US AND ISNT THIS DUNGEON CALLED TWILIGHT AND WHY DOESNT THE END BOSS EVER DROP IT

You should have given him your twilight so he can drop it once he gets fixed.

The whole party needs to be zerk warriors with transmuted Twilights (to zerk stats) and use only 100b for the whole fight. Duh.

Since you cant crit the tree dude we all went full bleed builds. We all maxed 25 bleed stacks and he melted.

Learn basic game mechanics. Cant crit the tree so use bleed builds to max conditions which he is vulnerable to. Power vit condi stat for the win noobs.

Then where do you get your magic find from? kitten?

Good thing you would have gotten a full gold if you beat it. Definitely the equivalent of CoF P1 difficulty.

We did good today everyone.

For the final boss in the Forward/Up path of Twilight Arbor, the spiders don’t despawn after players wipe. This makes the fight impossible if your party dies once. This needs to be fixed, or the gold reward needs to be set to 3g, because it’s much harder than Arah at the moment.

TA F/U sucks, we tried everything but those spiders killed us again and again. Even with our magic find gear and one brownbear-longbow-ranger we were not able to defeat him.

Haha noob. Try breaking out of your cof one.zerk mindset and try carrion power vit condi and watch how fast the tree dies. If you aremt willing to adapt you deserve to fail.
