God this is so getting nerfed to the ground. Was similar to necro through defiant fear, except for the not doing anything for a few minutes. Would love to see a 5 mesmer powerblock lupi run though!

You can stun lupicus, or at least you used to be able to. I don’t know if the sigil of paralyzation nerf made it impossible now, I never went and tried again.
Back when I was a nub and Dub was teaching me how to play, we used to use shield for lupicus kills. I had a para sigil on mine because who knows why, and shield bash would stun him.

A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

If only… but it just cannot be. The increased recharge time might be intended – a very interesting addition; power block bypassing defiant stance can’t be. Not even remotely.

About 1 month ago I could still troll an entire team so I guess it still works.
Anyway, this game would be much better with that, so much controls! Just imagine stunlocking every boss.

those skills have cast time.
Evasion doesnt
it means stunlocking on reaction needs skill and since attack rate is way faster than CDs its not a bad thing at all.

From some testing -
It definitely works on the berserker abom in arah p2. It works on imbued shaman’s agony arrows, though it would take someone with a lot better twitch skills then me to do it consistently. It also works on the molten berserker, tho his main flailing attack seems to count as multiple little attacks, so I saved my interrupts for his jumps. I’m pretty sure it works on mossman – but again he attacks pretty fast, so it will take someone with more skill then me to confirm.

It does dps even if it doen st evade.
Reason why really few players use mesmer sw4 (that on another side gets punished by so many multiattacks instead of being incentivated in pve)

Why not take this mechanic, and make interrupts a Ranger niche?
This is most definitely a bug. It’s awesome for sure, but I don’t think the devs would like it if Mesmers were allowed to stunlock lupicus lol. (and yes, it works on lupicus to the point where he can’t do any attacks)
But it’s awesome and super fun. Sadly.
I suspect it is a bug, but this is still pretty boss.
