New mechanics not the end of the world.
Indeed they’ve tried to make it clear that this is one part of a greater set of changes. Here’s a quote from a few days ago with some relevance:
I do intend on putting more waypoints into dungeons, but due to the work required for this upcoming patch we didn’t get enough time to make it happen.
I’m not a fan of “punishment running” wherein your punishment for failing is having to run a long distance back to the fight. To discourage res rushing potential we went initially with fewer waypoints. Now that we are implementing a new tech, I would like to add more to reduce the time spent running back to an objective.
We have more info coming soon to how the system will be working.
No amount of logic and soothing is going to halt or diminish the QQ occurring. Stop trying – They will not listen. They will take everything you say and then tell you that you’re an elitist kitten or that something is wrong the game.
The concept of a game not letting you do content if you weren’t good enough to do it is a foreign one – Modern gamers are not the breed of determined kittenes we used to know who reveled in the fact that they found something they failed at, and forced them to get better.
Also, entitlement issues.
It doesn’t matter that the changes may be awesome, that more changes are planned in the future, or that some things were buffed/nerfed to be brought in line with other things. What matters is that someone, somewhere, can no longer do something they used to.
And now they must cry about that – And that alone.
There will be no consoling them.
ahahah so nobody will play cof path2? its hard for public group to do “the defend magg” part without re-spawing and running back.. goodluck andd “have fun” playing dungeons!

Then they should set all dungeons to lvl 80.

Actually, I would love a game like that.
I would love a game that forces me to be rezzed and to come back into the fight.
But here, it’s the exact opposite : players are forced to not get better in dungeon runs (either you’re already good at them or you don’t do them).
got so used to spamming fotm in the past two months that i forgot you can even rez rush
