Social Awkwardness makes me hate people
My first thought is, this instability is up there for most infuriating for not only the reasons listed but also the vague nature of why/when its applied.
If i’m near no one (I.E clear of the Circle icon) i still take damage anyway. This design is…dumb. It doesn’t reward good play, it punishes it. Not only do i get less boons and therefore less sustain. I also get constant chip damage even though i’ve gone out of my way to actively avoid it.
That above all else i feel is the first change they need to do. Removing the persistent chip would solve a lot.
It is a way to get people think more carefully about positioning, to figure out how to maximize boonsharing. It’s definitely frustrating when people ignore the tells, but with good players, it’s not usually a defining issue in our success.
It’s so easy to control it,it’s a small circle around you and all you have to do is to avoid touching another players’ circle with yours.
It’s easy for everyone to stay in melee range and not get damaged from this, but when everyone runs around like a headless chickens for no reason and can’t control their positioning it becomes a problem.
lose a pip,win 2 pips,lose a pip,lose a pip…………..-
-Go go Espartz.-
It’s at least good for building up CA for druids though
