I think this is a great idea. I would love to see some FOTM inspired titles.

For instance:

Achieve Personal Reward Level 10 – Fractals Master
Achieve Personal Reward Level 20 – Veteran Fractals Master
Achieve Personal Reward Level 30 – Elite Fractals Master
Achieve Personal Reward Level 40 – Champion Fractals Master
Achieve Personal Reward Level 50 – Legendary Fractals Master

Complete 1000 Fractals – Fractals Frequenter

Unlock All Fractals Skins – One Man Armory

Kinda feel like it should be more like:

10,000 fractals – I spent my life in fractal and only got this crummy title

I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to award all the people they kek’d with the fractal reset. Either that, or this would just be yet another slap in the face to them.

As for the series of fractal master titles… not really a fan of adding misguided titles like this. Even though I wasn’t at 80 before the fractured update, I empathyze with all of the people who worked their kitten off to make it to the top only to get royally kek’d over. They are the only one deserving of titles like this.

However, the “One Man Armory” title is fine. It’s just that the other ones seem totally inappropriate considering what many of the people here had to put up with.

Agree with Iris. Titles should be for big milestones. If you are going to put a title for achieving a certain fractal level then the only one I would support is a title for fractal 50. And also id say it should only start counting towards those milestone titles after unlocking the fractal 50 title.

For someone like me who runs (and pugs) daily high lvl fractals, I really support this idea. It displays dedication just like those WvW titles

For those who made it to 80:

-Reset Threat
-Never Forgotten (after FRACTAL RESET NEVER FORGET!)
-80? Reset, no sweat
-Reset Vet

Yeah I’d cap it at like 1k. That’s still a lot. You’d have to do 3/day for nearly a year. Seems like a good ending place.

I know at least 3 people already past their 1,000 milestones. Give those people a carrot stick, will ya? I’m sorry but the Legendary should have at least done something that seems impossible to others.

However, 50,000 runs calculated 2 ways:
-4 Fractals each run would add up to 12,500 FOTMs completed. This takes roughly 1 hour to complete. that is 12,500 hours of play time to achieve!!!
-There are 5 reward tiers (i.e. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50) If you ran each of those every day it would take 10,000 days to complete this title. The equivalent of over 27 years.

Yes… I know the fractal reset irk’ed some people… but oh well… They improved fractals with the new system (I got bumped down and I still enjoy them)

I just wanted to express that if people are able to get titles for something as simple as killing a Legendary boss in SilverWastes… then why can’t we have some FOTM titles?!

Achieve Number of Fractal set: 5,000- Champion Fractals Master (less than 3 years)
Achieve Number of Fractal set: 10,000 – Legendary Fractals Master (depend on how you farm)

Alright, I fix the amount so it appears more realistic. It was supposed to be a joke, anyways.

If you farm hardcore enough then keep repeating level 9 until you get a copious amount of fractals a day. I think it took people an average of 4-6 years for their GWAMM. So don’t complain.

It took me less than 1000 hours to GWAMM on a new account with no support (eg no free ectos, zkeys, etc) from other people. So 4-6 years would be extremly casual or not focused on the title.

Maybe doing Fractal levels 31, 39, 44, 46, 47, and 48 should each award a title.

And/or something for doing every single single mistlock instability.

Getting GWAMM these days is not really the same as getting GWAMM in the olden days, though. Instant booze consumption, party items and sweets available at every corner, 7 heroes making vanquishes lolmode, tools for easy carto, LDoA achievable as a daily…

And all can be auto-pilotted :p
