What Pugs Want: The "fun-geon"
Good idea, but i do feel you left out some stuff needed for the bingo unless you added the things only you needed to win…or am i late on this topic rendering my comment moot?

Buff Warriors party healing abilities in dungeons only.
Delete Thief, yeah, everyone hate those guys.
Put some lions in the dungeon, make sure they are hungry, this will encourage players to keep moving.
Add some of those chickens from ebonhawke in dungeons.
Condition damage scales with toughness, vitality and healing power now while in fungeons.

The definition of fun in my opinion is trying new things. Doing the same repetitive task everyday for years will get boring quickly. There need to be some small variation. Right now the only variation from doing the same dungeons everyday is the potential loot of exotics, and that drops maybe on a weekly basis only.
That said, I still find FOTM somewhat interesting. The small variation is there, and I don’t do it daily so it’s still somewhat refreshing. But currently with the rumors that the rewards are nerfed I now lack incentive to do it as well as having people in my time slot to do it with.
Okay, how about you remove ping gear? I don’t know why people do that.
(yes, there’s a guy on reddit right now complaining that dungeons force him to dodge when he doesn’t want to).

Before you do any dungeons… roll a dice! Keep rolling until you get the number that you want before you can enter the said dungeon! From then on, it’s the dice that has the final say!
Might not be a bad idea actually. With limited time, I’ll roll a dice and what dungeons I get to do next, with Arah and Aetherblade that will seldom get the dice roll. Mhm.

I can’t count the times I’ve been booted for wanting to run the dungeon properly, there are people out there that are 100% convinced the devs make content that is supposed to be skipped. I weep for the lfg T_T

To a lesser extent I think they should make Kholer at least a non-skippable boss. The fight after the April update is now even easier due to the ferocity changes and hitting everything harder in low level dungeons as a lv80. Alas it most likely won’t happen, so now I just have to write “kholer pls” after the Spider Queen if the party got the deeps. Just got 2 rares today in today’s run in one path. :>
Not funny-you also forgot to note that there are PuGs who think they are “meta” and think they are actually speedrunning when they aren’t, and others are actually abusive/bullies who also don’t read and join groups that meant to run casually and then expect them to do a speedrun. A thread about making “the jerk-geon” would still be as inappropriate as this one, nevertheless.
Not meant to take away your “fun”, but mocking others-especially people you don’t know nothing at all and that you are simply generalizing about-isn’t fun at all. I certainly don’t mock or belittle anyone for playing differently than I do-you have the right to be “efficient”, and they have the right to take their time (which has nothing to do with the absurd, cited “two hours minimum” run.)

- Every dungeon will now cause perma-chill to slow down movements and attacks and make sure that dungeons take as long as the designers intended.

Edit: On second thought I want Mass Effect style romance options for all mobs in the dungeon so I can have a love triangle between Lupi, the Jotun and myself. Then in path 2 I finally give one of them the cold shoulder and live PG13 happily ever after on a spaceship, until I get a terrible ending in path 3.

If it were the green ending, would that be a synthesis of player and boss, player and trash mobs, or player and dungeon fungeon?
Simple solution to all the complaints: remove dungeons, add “fun-geons”.
GW2 is a play-how-you-want game but dungeons are designed for elitists to exclude people. Therefore, all dungeon mechanics need to be reworked to:
- Mobs no longer take damage from attacks. Instead, they lose health automatically over time. They also lose more health the further away players are from them. This will discourage the “zerk only” stacking meta by enabling players to play how they want, with any build, at any range.
- Mobs no longer deal damage. Instead, players either take steady damage over time, reduced by armor, when near mobs. Dodging will negate this effect for 10 seconds. This will give players a meaningful choice as to whether or not to dodge instead of making dodging mandatory (yes, there’s a guy on reddit right now complaining that dungeons force him to dodge when he doesn’t want to).
- Doors will not open until all mobs in the preceding area have been cleared. This is to prevent skipping, obviously.
- Dungeons no longer give rewards. This is to discourage players from “farming” dungeons instead of doing them for fun, the way they were meant to be played.
- Party members cannot be kicked once they join the party. This is prevent elitists from kicking people for playing how they want. If a party wants to kick a member, they must submit a ticket to Anet detailing the reasons for the requested kick to be reviewed by a GM. This will be made feasible by the fact that most dungeons will take, at minimum, approximately two hours to complete per run.
I think I speak for everyone (but the elitist speedrunning zerk stacksploiters) when i say this would vastly improve the dungeon experience.

Pinkish marshmallow might be OP though.
