I understand that, the problem is… I am always running Twilight Arbor because thats the only set of armor I actually want for me.

I wish I could run the other dungeons as well, but dungeons are really hard and why would I bother? I have no use for those tokens.

I kinda wish there was a good incentive for me to run the other dungeons as well while still working for my twilight arbor set.

I hate to make comparasions, but with WoW, I always enjoyed the LFG tool, you could run all sorts of dungeons and they all helped into getting the gear you wanted.

Devs dont want people running the same dungeons over and over, but thats just whats happening to me with the current system.

Same. I’m only interested in CoF light armor (I really like the looks) and mask+legs from Arah. Maybe after I get those I will run every dungeon path once but that’s about it.

1 Run several dungeon types.
2 Buy exotics (Or rares for CoF/CoE/HotW/Orr) and salvage for ectos and other materials.
3 Either use or sell these for even MORE profit on top of the absurd amount you’ve already made from creaming all those dungeon bosses.
4 Profit.

hopefully the devs will eventually add in Zaishen-type quests from GW1 that would be an incentive to run dungeons you otherwise wouldnt run.

The state of the game is why it’s twilight arbor armor or citadel of flame armor. Universal tokens would mean that there’s just a number of generic sets, loosely styled for certain races (just like cultural armor).

Dungeon armor is probably neither the easiest nor the fastest way to a complete set. If you want a set ,fast, get crafted items. Dungeon armor is a way to show how proficient you are at a certain dungeon. It’s something to work for the look of it. And most of all, it’s something that just happens if you happen to like to run a dungeon.

Funny thing is, after clearing TA 1 & 2 again, yesterday, we descided to try something new. So we went to AC. Noone knew AC explorable, so we had tons of fun learning it. At the end of the night, we descided to only go one TA path a day from now on (people farming TA tokens…) and one new explorable after that. We’ll be having fun and working for a specific set.
