The elitism is strong in this thread. If you people have such a hard time with unique specs, how about you form your own groups instead of pugging and making fun of unique builds. All dungeons are stupid easy and there’s plenty of viable builds that work just fine. Stop being jerks and try new stuff. You might have fun.

We have a hard time with bad specs, don’t sugar coat it. “Unique”, LOL.

but but dungeons are easy, i can finish them in like 4 hours with my unique build of awesomeness..

joke aside, i tried a lot of builds with all classes, it was fun to begin with. eventually i kept on switching mid dungeon to zerkers (or pvt guardians) and further down the road, i stopped using any build that wasnt dps efficient (like pvt guardian) cause it’s
1) boring
2) selfish
3) detrimental to everyone’s l2p progress
Now quite a few people are genuinely trying to tell people that you should either
1) choose a sub-optimal build and play with people who dont care about that and have fun rotating builds
or
2) switch to optimal builds and look for other challenges in the game with the better players while teaching others how to play

that’s not elitism.

Third and the bad option is trying to tell people your unique build is as great because most likely it isn’t, that’s why it’s unique.

As for people talking about my build… it may not be your ideal Hundered-Blades-And-Rifle-Kill-Everything build, but screw that. It gives me some decent damage and interrupts and movable AOE that can make use of combo fields for the mace/axe, making me fairly effective against groups of trash mobs or individual targets that need to have heavy attacks interrupted. Which is mainly what I use it for. Bosses in dungeons and other high-risk targets (Like Aetherblades or the like) I generally use my rifle on. A pretty good amount of damage output from that that I like.

It’s called out trolling, the number of times I’ve had some troll build thief use me to shadow step away from everybody else they’re trolling AS killshot goes off in their face…

Altho I’m never in a rifle build when I do it… I just swap one in because I know volley and kill shot don’t give a kitten about stealth and if I swap in zerker gear at the same time I can rifle butt glass for like 7k.
