gw2esp [source past 3/15 patch available]
Disable the UI of your program.
“Q) It’s working properly, but how can I turn features on or off?
A) Press Alt or Ctrl (depending on the version you use) + H. A list of options will appear that lists what is en/disabled and how to dis/enable it.”
And funny thing, my ctrl stops working when the program is running.
Cant ctrl + v or ctrl + c anything when the program is running or anything that needs me to use the ctrl key
Even outside gw2? In gw2, it’s binding those to show/hide ally list and…. uhm forgot what ctrl + c does.
Have you gone through the troubleshooting listed? Uninstalled all 64 bit versions of vc redistributables and installed the 32 bit ones? Etc.?
I tried the following combos to disable the app:
Alt + B
Alt + R
Alt + Num1
Alt + Num2
None of them worked.
I know that they are to enable and disable features but when I do this to enable/disable features nothing happens.
Yes outside the gw2 the ctrl key just stops working.
The dps meter works, i can see all, i click ctrl + h in game it shows the option but when i try to enable/disable the features nothing happens.
And the ctrl key works in game but stops working outside the gw2.
EDIT: I unnistalled the 64bit version and istalled the 86bit, i installed the 3 files you mention and again nothing happens and the ctrl key stops working outside gw2.

That’s strange. But when you can use ctrl + h to get the help window open, you’re definitely also able to en-/disable other things. You know right that you must press ctrl instead of alt, even though alt is displayed?
You mean istead of pressing Alt + R to show radar you need to press Ctrl + R? o.o
Ok, thats one thing solved xD
What about the ctrl key not working outside gw2 when I open the program?
I need to close the game for the ctrl key to start working again.
That’s strange. Probably it isn’t properly detecting when gw2 is in foreground and when not. I have had this bug sometimes but a restart would usually fix it.
A restart to gw2 or computer?
Cause I already restart the computer and game and there’s no fix.
Everytime I open the program after gw2 the ctrl key just stops working outside gw2.
Oh well, nvm, its a small thing to get used to it xD
Because its the same.
In the ctrl version the ctrl stops working.
In the alt version the alt stops working.
Did a quick test. Had Ctrl version do as listed.
Restarted game and started alt version. All is good.
The program doesn’t disable the alt/ctrl key, though but rebinds key combinations.
So if it bugs for you, alt + “x” won’t work for you, but where do you use those key combinations outside of gw2 anyway? Ctrl + x/c/v/etc, sure. But the only thing I can imagine you use alt for on desktop is alt-tab, which will stay unaffected. Ctrl-alt-del kry combination can’t even be rebound.
The binding scheme generally follows this pattern:
RegisterHotKey(NULL, AUTOCLICKER, MOD_ALT | MOD_NOREPEAT, 0×43); //C Key
RegisterHotKey(NULL, EQOFFHAND, MOD_ALT | MOD_NOREPEAT, 0×41); //A key

Update: Removed private version artifacts (that might now crash your client).
Dub & Frifox, do you think it’d be possible to implement delay to the server information within the tool? Lately I’m having huge issues with lag spikes which makes me get teared apart when trying to solo bosses like Lupi?
Ping? And delay information in milliseconds displayed somewhere? I know the idea of the tool is completely different but it might be useful.
Oh, yeah, that’s doable. I recently built a c program to do that, if I find it, I’ll maybe implement it. If not, I’m too lazy to look all that up again. Lots of documentation for little gain.

Open your Options menu. Your ping is there

Very convenient way of blocking your sight, indeed.
Thanks for the update.
Now we need a way to set default options on
I could make an ini to configure options but… if anyone truly wants to set his default options, he can always compile it himself. Full source code is available at github and ticking options on and off certainly doesn’t take programming knowledge.

Apparently the gw2lib changes broke the preloading of icons and other textures, therefore you can’t see any profession icons on the floaters unless you have all profession icons in a folder. I’ll work on that and see if I get the dll to include them directly upon build.
I’m trying to build the thing myself using the github repo you provided, but I am getting all kinds of errors when pressing build in Visual Studio 2013. Lots of files not found as well as lots of oinvalid parameters and formatting. I have no previous experience with coding, and have no idea what I am doing though. All I want is to change the UI to fit 1440×900 reso.
Edit: getting some headway. I only get one error now:
D_SCL_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS at line: return (_Copy_impl(Unchecked(First), Unchecked(Last),
I switched to Unicode char set which is why I see that error, before that it wouldn’t accept LPCSTR because expecting w_charset something.
Any idea how to solve this? I feel like I’m very close to compiling this.
Fixed.
Now I am getting a different error: error LNK1104: cannot open file ‘libboost_system-vc120-mt-gd-1_5_7.lib’

Ehh, I should have explained a bit I guess. Follow frifox’ tutorial on how to get it working but use my files instead of his ones. Then you’ll need to fix include paths (since I guess your username isn’t ‘M’) and set the project to unicode (project manager, right click on hacklib_gw2_sample → properties). Then you’re able to compile the whole thing.
It’s a bit of work, but after that it’s just changing values for the anchor “aHealthBar”.

EDIT: I figured it must have been problem with my folder structure. It was when using CMake I set the binary output folder to a different folder than the source. It was apparently essential that source and binary output are the same folders. Everything built smoothly this time, and it WORKS! Now to change that healthbar anchor.

Seems some time ago the drawing broke, I have no time or interest in fixing it though (if I were even able to) and therefore you’ll probably have to wait for rafi to “fix” gw2lib. Internally, everything seems to work. I get values properly written into a console window.
dll successfully injects using the injector but launching the exe returns “Dll not loaded!” press any key, ideas that will solve my computer ineptitude?
The .exe is nothing but an injector that looks for “gw2dps.dll” and injects it into “Gw2.exe” using CreateRemoteThread(). So if manually injecting works, just stay with that. However, as mentioned in my last post the d3d9 hook doesn’t seem to work correctly at the moment.
He pushed an update last night.
Is it still working after this patch?
I’m getting an ‘Unhandled SEH error’ or something like that. So yeah the latest update probably broke it.
Dub is dead?
Not yet. I’ll look into it the next days but anet starts kittening me off so much with all these updates lately…
Perhaps slightly off topic but is the exact critical chance available in the client memory?
Yes. However, damage is calculated server side so there is no guarantee that the values we extract are ones used for calc, not just a rounded representation.
EDIT: I may have spoke too soon. Precision is available, but not sure about critical chance. Basically this is what I was able to pull out a while back: youtube
I’m sure Critical Chance is there too, but my bet is what you see in Hero panel is the same value I’d pull.
