Ascended rings are nice. However, after doing fotm for some time, you get more thyan you need. Selling a reward for full fractal run at vendor for 5s feels… strange.

Please consider:

1. making ascended rings salvageable for some materials related to ascended crafting, (dragonite ore, dark matter, ectoplasm, crystalline dust)

2. adding recipes for Mystic forge which would transform 4 rings into something else, other ring of random type, or maybe accessory…

3. let us sell it to the fractal vendor bot for fractal relics, or maybe a laurel – the effort to complete fotm run at 10+ level is higher than to make a daily, and you can buy a ring for 30 laurels after all…

This has been suggested about a million times (conservative estimate, probably a lot more often), but you can see how much the devs care …

As said above, you are the 1 millionth person to post this.

1. Salvaging is the obvious answer

2. Putting in 4 rings and getting a different one you don’t need is just a waste. I would rather sell them for 5s. Maybe put 4 regular and get an infused or something?

3. Still like the salvage idea better.

They won’t implement this change I think. Why? Because they seem to be dead set on making fotm less and less rewarding with every update directed at it.

Really, just let us salvage them for ascended materials, or sell them for fractal relics/pristine/laurels.

I think, to make fractals properly rewarding, give each boss chest (including 4th fractal) 0-2g (depending on what level) each day, and the bonus daily chest giving 3-5g

All you may get;

- Ascended metariels now can be salvaged into Empryan Fragments.

Giving dragonites for salvaging rings would be such a good idea.

I think they will become salvageable when lvl 500 jeweler is introduced (maybe in march?), so that people can craft the various stats combinations. I assume crafting ascended rings/trinkets will follow the pattern for weapons and armor: 2 “core” components (setting + band/hook/chain) requiring electrum, a (lesser?) vision crystal and an ascended jewel. Those jewels would be craftable for the classic stats combinations and obtained through salvaging for other stats.
