1 patch per week...worst idea ever?
you’re = you are
your = possesive (ex. I love your game)
And why would they ban you?
Thx man ;p cus they love cookies and i dont :-(
1 patch per week is glorious compared to GW1. I’ll take it!
I will take anything below 2 weeks. Plus, other released mmos have weekly maintenances too, so I’d say that’s pretty normal.
Anyone who wants a release cycle of less than a week has never worked in software development. As a general rule the faster you patch the lower the quality. When you see patches breaking things that’s a sign their team is moving too fast.
But a simple fix like tokens from dungeon dont stack should be fix fast…or guild reprezent i dont want them to fix everything just small bugs that dont need to much time
You can’t possibly know what is small and what is easy to fix unless you personally know the codebase. If this game isn’t up to your standard, come back in a year.
You really have to consider development / testing times.
Coming from a software dev background, 1 week development sprints are ridiculously amazing. The shortest release cycles I’ve seen in even the most disciplined companies were 2 weeks and they didn’t have nearly as many end users.

“The most important thing in any game should be the player” – R. Soesbee
On the other hand at least doing nightly restarts till all the issues are fixed would ‘fix’ all the broken events till they get broke again making it so people don’t need to wait 6 days to do a skill point or event.

I don’t recall anything having to be fixed pronto in GW1. And what was all those “please restart your client” messages in GW1, back in it’s release days? GW1 was a technical beauty.
One patch every “TWO” weeks is normal for many MMOs, and considering how much they actually get done during just “ONE” week; you should be seriously more thankful instead of asking for more.
Look at Battlefield 3! They get patches quarterly, be thankful for anything less.
Would you rather they patch things asap that could possibly make the game worse or that they test the patches out first?

Don’t expect bugs fixes immediately at this point, only severely game breaking bugs will get immediate attention. Maybe they’re doing more thorough testing of patches or trying to fix SP/DE’s so that they wont break again.
