It’s returning. Returning items don’t go on sale, only existing.
Yes. I know it’s returning. I said so on my post there. I was asking why on their BIG ANNIVERSARY SALE they don’t knock off 100 gems on returning items to make it really feel like a BIG ANNIVERSARY SALE and not just items they would have brought back at some point anyway for the same price.

Because sale doesn’t and hasn’t here, meant only discounts. As their post said there will be items on sale, items returning and new items. They don’t need to put a returning item on sale to draw buyers.
Sales aren’t about giving buyers a deal, it’s about making more sales. In this case the question is would reducing the price 20% increase sales by more than 25% so the same amount of gems are spent? Plus would it reduce future sales in the next return cycle? Then you have the motivation to drain gems and gold from the playerbase so they would be more likely to buy gems with cash, which at the end of the day is all that matters.

Baby minis for 80 gems. I am so happy about this. Now this is a sale. I really wish Anet would sell minis piecemeal like this at a reasonable price. 80 gems is reasonable, even 100 to 200; 400 to 500 is not. I would buy a lot more, and I suspect I’m not the only one.
interesting, I wonder why it got limited to 5 per, if it account bound anyways, lol. Oh well, i got me a cute polar bear cub from a friend, so I am happy.

I neeeeeeed char slots ANet. The character slots ones I got from the HoT purchase has squatters in there and the police won’t do a thing about it. (They just look at me like I’m crazy when I call them to complain).

And with every gem I spend I worry I won’t have enough for the stuff I’m hoping to see (I missed last years sale entirely, so this is two years of waiting to be a cheapskate >.<)

It would be nice if we had a list of what was upcoming (yeah, surprise and all that). The actual days they would be there could still be secret but at least we could plan on how many gems to have on hand.
