Many of us know the Apostle’s armor set is in the wardrobe and that the chest can actually be acquired during story, but why can’t any other pieces? Aside from people who got PvP versions from chests when we still got those why are they not available at all? The pants especially would look sweet on my Ele. Are there any plans to make them available?

The top goes well enough with Acolyte pants and boots that I’d probably keep them even if I could get the full set, but I’d still like access to the full set as an option.

They never talked about Tribal armor, I doubt they are going to say something about this one.

I wish we still got the PvP chests when getting the achievement point chests. I miss opening those and looking at all the awesome skins. I didn’t even care that I couldn’t use them outside of PvP. /sigh
I hope Anet adds in the missing armor sets into PvE one day. I really wish they would make regional collections as well. Even throw in a barber/hair stylist shop that charged some in-game currency for each region. Okay that was reaching. But if they were to make certain event chains have a chance to drop relevant skins imagine how popular that could be.

I would contend that the sets are only popular because they are unobtainable. I wear the Tribal on my Mesmer sometimes only because most people can’t. If everyone had access to it I wouldn’t wear it. Not something I am proud of, but it’s the truth.

Why include it if it is unobtainable? Because it was already obtained by some people and it’s not fair to yank it back from them.

I suppose they could hide it if you haven’t unlocked it. That might soothe some ruffled feathers, but I’d rather they put it back in the game. Certainly more so than that ugly kitten Tribal armor everyone keeps begging for.

Here here. I never entered PvP before about two weeks ago, but I had a healthy collection of skins from those chests. They probably won’t do it, since it would mean the wardrobe/collections could be filled more easily.

Are we sure they aren’t still obtainable by the personal story? You used to get them at the higher levels running a light character. Personally I have the whole set and think it’s hideous, but if you like it I hope there is still some way for you to get it.

Absolutely positive. I just finished cataloguing all the ele rewards this weekend. Only the chestpiece still.
