I had a good amount of fun with it on my characters today.

Glad you were having fun with it.

And I thought is was funny at first too.
Then it started giving me a headache after an hour, and the fun of it was over.
Thought I was fine when I logged in today and they were not showing up.
Then I went in to do my PS, nope they came back. sigh
Now I can’t wait for this kitten day to be over, so the game can go back to normal.

Well it was fun at first, loved it infact but must admit now its just plain annoying, as a Aussie went to bed with plans of making a character today and using my makeover kit on it, but that’s impossible when their head doesnt even show up in the menu because its that big =/

Ive tried to play from the bobble head thing started but idk what it is, but it makes me feel ill, a friend said its maybe motion sickness, after reading some of this post idk maybe could it be that, i know some peeps are feeling this way but what makes peeps feel ill ? is it just the wobbling? i had my eyes tested not long ago so i don’t need glasses, doe’s anyone know how long is left till the bobble head thing is over and i can play again?.

If the majority of you guys can’t handle a prank in a video game I hate to see what happens to you in real life. Get a sense of humor and freakin’ do something else with your time if you can’t handle this for a day. I find it extremely difficult to sympathize with anyone who’s crying over this. Get a life, get off your computer for a few hours if you don’t like it.
Yea, it was my day off too, I get it. I like to play a lot of this game whenever I get the chance. 1 day out of 365 isn’t going to ruin my life.

Gotta love it when your break makes you noxious.

I have np with peeps who have fun with it, and i know its only a day etc, id have liked to have played but it is making me ill, idk why but it is.

You know what’s REALLY great about this? I get to see all the facial details devs put into character creation and possibly hours of customization people put into their beloved characters.

ANet, I am disappointed by the lack of underwater pet bobble-heads. :P

This was pretty much my best bobblehead. I’m ready for it to be over now….

Awww, I figured the bobbleheads would be reset at 12am server time, not 10pm. Darn it, looks like I missed them.

First of all, I do understand perfectly about those who have real physical problems with the bobble heads. I do not have motion sickness, epilepsy, or massive headaches because of visual stimuli, however to this day I cannot spend more that about 3 minutes inside of SAB without being horribly ill. Too bad, too, because it looks terribly fun. I feel for you.

Having said that, it seems to me both in-game and here in the forums, the majority are enjoying ANet’s little side trip into Silly Land.

The thing is that especially in the US, most everyone knows that April 1 is a day for pranks, hi-jinks, and silliness. If you have been around the folks at ANet for any length of time, then you also know they do stuff like this EVERY YEAR. If you weren’t ready for something like this to happen, then it’s not their fault.

Enjoy it or not, it’s up to you.

Tomorrow it will be over, and you can be happy doing your serious business.

Aside to ANet: Thank you for the fun. I had a blast! Can’t wait to see what you do next year

Oh, it bugged me; I couldn’t play for any great length of time. But I did enjoy what I managed! It was funny. The tea came out of my nose a few times (ow). My kid loved it, my husband laughed. We don’t even celebrate the day as such, but it doesn’t matter. I appreciated the grins.

Bears are indeed the best (evidence attached), and I discovered quaggans are xenomorphs in disguise. I also humbly submit one of my asura for the cuteness stakes.

My hat is off to Anet, this took some work to pull off.

My guild was doing Melandru last night and when we missed a skill break the priest changed us into drakes. All those gigantic drake snouts waving like the foam rubber “We’re #1” fingers people bring to ball games…I totally lost it! I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a game in a long time. Well played, Anet.

Oh, and you people who were bellyaching because you have no sense of humor…go soak your oversized heads. :P

Every month, my guild does a moshpit style spvp event just for fun (no score) with everyone on the same profession character in our custom arena.

Just by chance, this month’s happened to fall on April 1 – and happened to be all mesmer. The result was an hour and a half of pure bobblehead chaos.

Thank goodness she’s so cute otherwise this would have looked awful! XD

Is it possible that bobble heads could be an option that can be turned on and off in graphics settings? It was so hilarious playing it like that.

i say we should hold out hope, i mean in gw1 they kept the Swedish chef language option in permanently (which was awesome!). so its entirely possible for it to come back with some permanence.
