Anyone have any kind of information on the time of release? GMT? PST? Whatever?

Go to sleep, Wake up, and perhaps it shall already be implemented, It’s what I plan to do. Good night.

No idea. ANet does not have a set time for their updates. They happen when they happen.

Some time in the afternoon; It feels like that’s the usual time to me.

I got 10:30 AM right now, just woke up. Wanna plan ahead and leave work at the appropriate time so I can go and check out the new features properly.

So no set time.

As said, we don’t know, so no point in asking.

However, if they follow their usual pattern it’s somewhere between 8 to 14 hours before the patch from this moment.

It’s about to be midnight PST, so it could be soon. We’re about to find out anyway.

Patch is usually around 12 pm PST, but who knows.

They have had a few patches that were around midnight PST, not sure if this will be one of those times.

Me right now:

*opens launcher* "Is it live yet?" *closes launcher*
5 minutes pass
*opens launcher* "Is it live yet?" *closes launcher*
etc

I hope it is within 8 hours, I NEED to play with the new patch after work haha.

Server time is 0:35 just now, I really doubt they will be up and doing anything until a least 9 hours from now. Since it is a big patch I would guess they will do last minute checks and such so could easily be 12+ hours from now before anything happens.

Patches usually get released 7-9 hours from now.

Almost as importantly, after the main patch, how many times are we going to get booted for follow-up patches?

My friends and I make a mini-game out of guessing how many times we’ll see that “a new build is ready” message each night after a patch.

“Hey, let’s go to Frostgorge now!”

“Another new — newer? — build…see you there after the download.”

Yea I know but for example, two updates ago some parts of europe got our update when we where sound asleep So it would be unfair if this happened again since that would mean that we don’t get ~24h to log in to get our stuff :P So what I mean is that they probably is planing to release the patch around 12.00 p.m. PT Today so that there will be as near 24h as possible. That’s only a theory but I beleave it

If you are in EU the patch normally hits between 19:00 and 21:00 depending on where you are- so it will be awhile yet

Dunno… I googled 11.59 p.m. PT and compaired it to my timezone before I posted before and well… With my bad calculations I ended up around 21.00 at my time and as Morrigan says, we have always (eccept for one time) had the updates around 19.00 and 21.00 here…

Yes they are sometimes up several hours before, sometimes several hours after, sometimes just before, sometimes just after. So yes.

The patch notes usually comes up when the update goes live. So when I play the game and see something like this ‘Restart the game to update to the latest patch’ I restart and update, goes to forums and read the patch notes.

Every single patch day someone starts this thread. And Anet never responds because they’re busy, ya know…launching the patch. It’ll launch when they’re ready. Patience.

it’s been 5 and half hours after 4/15 PDT now. when will the patch release exactly? just cant wait to see my wardrobe :O
