This armor is totally out of the game. The only person wearing some of it is Countess Anise . (She’s wearing the chest and possibly the boots part)

That armor isn’t previewable in the locker so we won’t count it yet until confirmation, you might wanna try general discussion though.

There are other stupid things like some weapons not using the proper skins like the shortbow in the hawkkeep it’s using the longbow skin but in pvp you can see it has it’s own smaller version wich looks much better same thing goes for the pirate shortbow.

The Vanguard trident isn’t using the proper skin in PVE either.

Actually, there’s several cases where underwater weapons are using the wrong skin, like the Beaded spear and harpoon gun.

Yep never saw these in the actual game myself. Tried discovering them to no avail because at the time guildhead said they existed even tho they didn’t and now it says they are pvp only even tho those are different. Go to dulfy’s site and find out that the image maps are there but the actual items are not.

the armor on the right, there needs to be released asap. I’ve been wanting it since like beta, or whenever I saw that mesmer video where she’s fighting in it.

Id give anything for the Stalwart gear in PvE, come on Anet!

I’ve been checking around for a while, and it seems like this issue has been a concern brought up since launch (mostly concerning pieces or whole sets gone missing since the beta, or sets on NPCs that are unobtainable by players); I’ve yet to see a response from ANet, so it’s a bit disheartening. I really hope they at least clear it up whether it was an intended design, or even better (and hopefully) fixes soon.

I’d just like to have this issue at least acknowledged by someone at Anet. I’ve been posting about the Stalwart helm since launch, and in all this time, not a single mention.

I’m hoping for this as well; either as an achievement reward or at least just simply fixed/patched. Don’t let us down ANet!

Also looking for the Stalwart set in PVE. So far I have only found the coat, as a story reward.

It’s such a great look – why keep it tucked away for no one to use? The more the merrier, yes?

I understand the idea of certain looks being special rewards, but at least make it available, somehow, in both PvP and PvE. Some of us don’t do PvP, and vice versa.

The Stalwart’s Shoulders are the only other piece from this set that I really want in PvE. Anyone find this skin anywhere?

Not sure if this was already mentioned but I have found many of the story mode skins with the karma vendor in wvw.

I used to hoard all of my story mode armor until I found all of them with that karma vendor.

Some skins from story mode can be found at the WvW karma merchant (I know, because I just got done checking), but they are NOT the skins that everyone is asking for – primarily the skin for “PvP Stalwart Helm” and “PvP Stalwart Shoulders,” the latter of which I am desperate for.

In addition, remember that the merchants aren’t marked with the typical karma icon, they look like regular armor/weapon vendors… would have saved me some time if I’d known that.

At this point, I would just about kill for the Stalwart’s shoulders, which is the only way to get rid of the ugly bald spot on my Engineer’s head from the otherwise super-cool Mist Walker helm skin.

You know what’s especially annoying? They are going out their way to create a bunch of new skins… and still can’t be bothered to make these ones available! Of all the content they could add, this would have to among the easiest.

Add them already, Anet. It’s been almost a year already!

I think it’s more likely that because they can’t do this, they don’t give a crap.

The worst part is that I got the Stalwart helm as a random PvP item from an acheivement chest, just taunting me.

I really, desperately, want the medium stalwart gloves to be made available in PvE. As they are the only gloves I find acceptable to use with the heritage armor.

Maybe they can include those skins as part of the armoring professions 401-500 extension .

I’ve started to think that all this is a great bug…

I.e., I found this comment about “Masquerade” skin:

“It’s a bug, it’s not supposed to be called masquerade and the icons are wrong too, the PvE skin is the correct masquerade armor, the PvP was called tribal in the beta. I doubt it’s even available in PvP, it’s just a preview bug like some weapons that bugs when previewed.”

Also, Stalwart’s only drop in PVE doesn’t corresponds with the skin.

On top of that, all PVP heavy sets are available in PVE, wich not corresponds.

Well… let’s see if ANet’ll fix this -.-

Went into spvp the other week on my new thief. Went to change out some of the default skins, and randomly put the stalwart helm on. I then realized I have never seen it before, which is odd, cause its a great looking head piece.

Now I’m here in an 11 month old thread asking that this skin be added to pve/wvw.

We will just have to see how the PvP rewards overhaul works, these sets may become attainable for pve on march 18th.

Last I checked, everything listed in OP could be purchased from a merchant in Eternal Battlegrounds for small amounts of badges. As much as I dislike WvW, I see nothing wrong with having some skins exclusive to different content.

PvP Stalwart armor cannot be purchased in WvW afaik. http://www.gw2db.com/items/50339-stalwarts-leggings

I’ve only seen Invader’s, and another armor skin that you can get off karma merchants.

They (the two that offer skins for badges only) also don’t offer the skins tabs until you’re level 80 either (unless they’ve changed that recently).

One thing I noticed, I’m pretty sure that the Marauder (used to be Commando) set is supposed to be the default skin for dropped rare equipment. Currently the only item in the set using the Marauder skin is the helm, while the rest use the Rogue skin, which is already available from the lowest level of Karma merchants.
Coincidentially, you can get the Rogue helm from those merchants, and though it has a spot on the wardrobe, this particular piece cannot be unlocked.

It looks like someone transcribed some wrong pieces of data in the database. Hopefully it should be a quick fix, because hopefully there’s still a dev or programmer who’s focus is on this after the recent wardrobe change

As for Stalwart’s armor, the same problem exists for the Apostle (light) and Heavy Scale (heavy) sets. Certain pieces can be got through story missions, but there’s now no way to acquire the full set in game.

There’s also several alternate weapon skins (mostly Vanguard or Lionguard underwater weapons, plus a “Destroyer Scythe” staff) that don’t seem to be available in PVE either.

I heard that the Stalwart armor was craftable in the mistyc forge with some token available at glory merchant :

Just like the Tribal set, I’m pretty sure that for now there is no way to acquire that set anymore.

When will they fix it ? Well they’ve known about this for 2 years…

With the new LS releases, maybe Anet will add Stalwart and Tribal armor back… At least with some karma merchant, maybe in Dry Top… Or some new merchant in (in future) rebuilt Lion’s Arch or with some heart in (future) renewed Kessex Hills.
